LeBron does it again... LMAO
Can someone tell me what this man problem is??? He's by far the best on the planet but can't finish when its close man...
MJ dont always take the last shot
If MJ just had a 4th Qt like LeBron just had, hit that crazy ass shot LeBron just hit, why in the hell would he pass?? Especially if it wasn't a hard double team... He had Paul Milsap on him with a open lane behind... You can't write this up any better... Even if he misses so what... He brought them back he should take the last shot... He was hot... Point blank...
EXCUSES I'm telling ya!!!
Man, yall haters need more things to fill out your day.
he's the best player on the Planet how am I a hater??? #FawkUp
lebron had 17(8-9) points in the fourth and brought them back from 18 down so calm down skip bayless so quit hating and nitpicking
He made the right pass. He was doubled and got a wide open look for Haslem. I dont blame him. I understand where people say you have to take the last shot, but i still think thaat was a fine pass. It would be different if it was a difficult shot for haslem but that wasn't the case
he should have took the last shot... Why even think to pass??? Yall act like we can't criticize him at all... Shut up brown noser...
have a 4th like he just had Dude... It wasn't a hard double team, he made his mind up before the play even started... You the best I'm sorry it's no way you think a pass to Haslem is ok when you just dominated the game...
I agree, Lebron should have taken that shot.
yall boys hate me huh?? LeBron off limits for yall??? Ok gotcha...
Jordan would have passed the ball to the open player if he got doubled, it's called a High IQ basketball play. I can't understand why NOT make the pass considering Haslem's mid range jumper is almost automatic..
He made the right basketball decision, I think most people want to see him be more selfish in those situations and live with the outcome. Consider the 2 shots he made back to back at the end of the fourth, with the one looking like a 2 handed chest pass at the rim and hit nothing but the bottom, he was in a incredible rythm and probably should have stepped back and took a jumper, or took one more step to the rim and got it off the glass, can't blame him for that loss though cause he was the whole reason they were in the game.
Told yall, all yall do is sit around and wait for Lebron to fail, then run on nbadraft.net and post, post, post.
Yall some haters as i've stated before, get off tha man's jock.
You aint speak on him averaging 36.5 PPG, 11.5 boards, 6ast, 2.5stls, 2 blocks and 0 turnovers his last two games tho?
Cut it out HATER.
that's all I'm saying... I just think the better basketball play was him not Haslem... That double team was very soft and he should have looked to score...
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take... I don't understand make or miss at least he know he could have decided the game... He earned that right to... He brought these dudes back which D. Wade miss those shots at the end too (which he needs to get more blame as well)... I'm not here saying LeBron isn't clutch I'm saying he need to take those shots because he is the best option... Especially when he has a window to shoot... I'll take a LeBron shot with a hand in his face over a Haslem shot with a hand in his face ANY DAY of the week... The problem is LeBron won't take the ish at the end... Damn...
also wade was the one that missed the free throw tht couldve put them up 3. plus wade fouled Harris for the 3 point play.
How am I a hater dude?? How? Because I state the obvious?? I already know LeBron is better skilled wise than ANY player to EVER touch a basketball... All I'm saying is he has mental lapses that won't allow him to win a ring (Or games sometimes)... Instead of acknowledging that YOU (and the rest of LeBron fans) give sorry a$$ excuses as to why he fails... And then you say ish like you just a hater because people point that out... I'm sorry if I call what I see... I'm by far not bias at all and actually give people the benefit of the doubt... But 9 years straight G he has done this... He would go off then have you like WHAT DUDE? Remember the Pistons series?? Everyone bashed him for passing it to Marshall the very next game he thrashed Detroit... That's the LeBron that need to show up during these situations...
give it up... If they don't take it... It's that simple... That wasn't really a double team just take the shot dude and live with the results... You've earned that...
Lebron is the only basketball player in the entire world regardless of any level played that will be criticized for passing it to a wide open midrange shooter for a mid-range shot.
Why isn't Batman (Dwade) getting these touches down the stretch? I can't think of too many other people i'd rather have closing than him. but what do i care anyway im not a heat fan, let the good times roll.
Yeah, I agree with db24k
Why doesn't Wade have the ball in his hands? It's obvious LeBron struggles in moments like these so why can't LeBron be Batman for 46 minutes and let DWade be Batman for the final 2?
LeBron has the ability to carry a team and drop near triple-doubles every night but let's face it, he's not getting it down in the final 2 or final 30 seconds of a game. It's time to give Wade the ball in those moments. Hell, at times, I'd rather have Bosh taking the ball in those situations.
Side note: LeBron-haters were quiet while the Heat was riding that 9-game win-streak. He doesn't take a shot in the ASG and the Heat drop one game out of ten, all the haters came right back. It's pretty comical how they are literally sitting back waiting for him to mess up so they can blog, talk, text, or write a thread/article about him.
That's what i'm saying, I can see if yall was consistent, you know when he does kill or play good make a topic about that, but it's always negative, everyone knows Lebron has a problem in the last minutes of close games, never did I deny that.
The problem is that everytime he does something wrong, or yall "think" he does something wrong, it's posted lol like chill, as i stated he's had 0 turnovers the last two games, the heat been on a winning streak...nothing about that tho.
I have a Q for you. WhyTF isn't Ilyasova getting more PT? i don't watch Bucks but im just looking at my fantasy min column and he had like 8&10 in 24 mins shooting like 50%. Do they want to keep his value down to to resign him or what?
no one is taking away how good he is playing this year... But yall act like we can't criticize the man for not taking the shot... He is the best player in the world so its only fitting that it will be threads about him!!! Just as there are threads about how great he's playing the same will be made for his flaws... The issue here is YALL won't allow us to point them out... This is the first time in league history since Wilt, that the best player in the league for years can't win a championship... The past 3 years he had arguably the best team in the NBA and haven't been able to get over the hump... The only flaw we are giving yall is his mental flaws... But we get called haters for saying it?? If that's the case, I shouldn't see yall point out any flaws in players games...
And YoungDave this is coming from you!!! A person that said PJIII story shouldn't be a big deal to him... It's like if someone mention your boy crush you call foul... Get outta here man...
I haven't watched a Bucks game in over a month lmao. I really wouldn't know. I live in Southern Cali so it's kind of tough to watch those games unless I find them online.
haha all good i thought u were from milwaukee... i guess that makes sense tho BJ3 is from SoCal
A wide open midrange shooter..named Udonis Haslem!!! Sorry wrong choice!!! You right tuck...Although I wouldnt call him the best player in the nba (best ahtlete...yes) people need to agree he should be open to as much critisim as they want seeing a how he was the self proclaimed king in high school and people could find no fault in his game even back in all them years ESPN put his every breathe on tv. Its not like we know him personally, just judging his game
Yeah, I've always liked Jennings since high school lmao
Lebrons mental lapses and lack of closing abillity has been well documented and definitely exploited although in this game Lebron closed like a champion and did everything he had to do. Somebody should make a post on the contested go ahead shot he forced and made right before Wade blew the game.
You guys really have no idea what happen in the closing seconds of that game. A PLAY WAS CALLED BY COACH SPO AND LEBRON EXECUTED IT!!!
With Lebron as hot as he was it was the wrong play but Lebron only had 2 options...1 take a CONTESTED shot with 2 defenders draped over him or 2 kick the ball to Haslem for a WIDE OPEN jumper.
It was a pick and roll and the defense doubled Lebron on the left side of the court which left Miami with odd numbers on the other side of the court and one player open.
Could Lebron of forced the shot? Yeah but he's not Kobe, and if Haslem would of hit the jumper everybody would of knew Lebron made it happen cause he did. So regardless of whether he shot it or not, Lebron still get's the team the final look which is what's important.
Secondly, it wasn't a hard double team and Haslem wasn't WIDE open... Hayward rotated over and Haslem took the same shot LeBron would have took... Just because the play called for a pick doesn't mean you have to pass on the pop... One more dribble would have sufficed... Or a pull-up... Passing it when he did wasn't the best option from a "BASKETBALL STAND POINT"... From a competitor stand point passing it when a defense is that passive AND you just dominated them the whole quarter shows lack of courage... Point blank...
Yall can write this up anyway you want to but he continue to prove this...
I don't want him to be Kobe nor do I want him to be Mike... I just would like him to be selfish when the games on the line like he did during the whole 4th Qt... That 3 he hit was a terrible shot BUT none of yall are saying it was a good basketball play... WHY? because he hit it... If he can do that why even think to pass is the question... This ain't hate this is WTF dude? I'm sure Chuck and them will say the same thing Thursday... I noticed majority of yall on here are polar opposites to what great basketball minds really think... Some of you are knowledgeable but its a point where yall have me scratching my head on ish... Have yall not played basketball before?? Where you not a go to player or something?? Like really man, why pass on these opportunities?? Especially when you worked on your game and you've been hitting it all day man... Work out..
he passed it to udonis haslem who is a very good mid range shooter .... whats wrong with that ?
People criticize Kobe for taking terrible shots in the last second, but complain when Lebron makes a team oriented play. I'm not saying what he did was the best choice, but it was definetly a good choice.
This "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take" idea is bull****. If you can pass to a teammate for a higher % shot you do it and that's that. If you take this to an extreme level you'll just shoot everytime you catch the ball, as if you hit 1 shot you'll be better off.
Basketball is a team sport. lol
Great basketball players make that pass, this idea that Lebron NEEDS to hit a game winner is ridiculous... Jordan understood that idea (pass out the double team) See: Paxson and Kerr... Most of Jordan game winners came one and one or going to the bucket (teams would rotate late because they knew he would pass to his knock down shooters)..
He was double teamed and Haslem had a better shot. You can keep saying "soft double team" like it should mean something or make sense, but that doesn't mean it suddenly will. LeBron absolutely made the right play. I'd rather him do that and Haslem miss the shot than have LeBron chuck up a shot every time he touches the ball like Monta Ellis.
I havent seen anyone get negged like this since D-Nyce proposed that LeBron sign with the Lakers for MLE
He's such a loser, his team ONLY won 9 straight games before last night...
I don't care if Lebron misses that shot, I just want him to take it. He is afraid of failure and they sooner we except that he isn't a closer like Kobe the sooner we can judge him on how great he really is.
He should've taken the shot. I knew he would pass it.
He' defnintely afraid of failure. Now I'm reading people feel sorry for him because of all the critisim he gets? People looooove lebron too much to hear one bad thing about him. Yet Kobe, who's done everything gets critisized for every little thing. Tell me...what would people have said 5 years ago if Kobe was dancing on the sidelines during games like Lebron used to? Tell me what happened when Kobe was scoring out of this world...critisized for not passing. People need to understand as fans we watch these games and should be entitled to our opinions. Your like or dislike for someone should not factor into their performance. Out of high school Lebron said he wanted to be the 1st billionaire athelete ever. He didn't say he wanted to be the best basketball player ever. Look waht a little work in the off season did for him. He wasn't known to work hard in off seasons until this past summer and he is having one of the greatest regular seasons ever. All I'm saying for those of you who can't stand to hear critisim of Lebron is don't put your personal feeling into it
That almost looked like a designed play. Really, the blame falls on whoever designed the ball to go to Haslem instead of Battier or the real goat of the game, D-Wade.
The problem as I see it is we seem to have 1 player who wants to take the last shot at all costs, for better or worse, and 1 player who wants to avoid taking that shot at all costs. If we could somehow merge the final possession games of Kobe and LeBron...well, you'd probably have the best final possession player since MJ.
he made the right basketball play & all he gets is criticism...what he did in the finals is inexcusable, but this is BS
Nobody is blaming Lebron, or hating on him. Lebron is having an amazing season. He has expanded his game into the post and has shown he can still make the outside shot. Lebron and the Heat are on a mission this season.
Last night, he made the right play down the stretch. But at this point, win or lose, everyone just want to see Lebron take the last second shot with the chance to win the game. We want to see him cap off this amazing season that he is having with a game winner or 2. Thats all.
too many lebron lovers everywhere! Switch lebron with mj from back in the day. heat woulda won last year, this year and the next 4. Kobe woulda beat the mavs last year if he was on the heat instead of lebron. Its the skill level and killer instinct that set Jordan, Kobe, magic, bird, isiah, apart. lbj is more like a pippen that needs an mj. Great player but couldn't do it being the #1 guy
My only problem is that Lebron needs to understand when he's hot. He was blistering in the 4th quarter in the All-Star game and last night.
In basketball you give the ball to the hottest shooter...Lebron that's you.
Just watched the video of the play. No question you make that pass. It was a pretty much a good basketball play that produced a pretty good shot. Haslem should have rolled a little closer to the basket so that it was a true free throw distance, but it was an easy shot for Haslem and one that is part of Haslem's game (there are some centers who can't shoot at all and it wouldn't have made any sense to get them the ball in that position).
The whole point of your best player having to shoot the ball at the end of games is just bad strategy. You want your best player making a play and making decisions when the pressure is on. But that play can be making things simple for his teammates. And that is what Lebron did there, he made it pretty easy for Haslem.
I definately think Lebron wanted to pass in that situation more than he wanted to shoot. That is the number 1 reason why Im dissapointed with the play. He had 3 seconds left when he passed it to haslem and the guy was rotating back to Haslem. Lebron couldve taken it to the paint or sized up and taken a jump shot. He was hitting everything he was shooting.
On another note why the hell did spoelstra call for a pick and roll in that situation. It seems as if he didnt even have faith in Lebron. Clear out and have Lebron go 1 on 1.
"I definately think Lebron wanted to pass in that situation more than he wanted to shoot."
Oh really, detective? By the way he passed it, I could have sworn he wanted to shoot the ball!
I wasnt talking about during the play. I was saying that Lebrons mindset before the play started was that he would prefer to pass than to shoot.
