Patriots Auburn Favre Back To

Patriots

Auburn

Favre

Back To Earth

Neither will be dethroned from top 2 anytime soon

Not if Bynum plays

Rose,Lopez,Westbrook,Hibbert,Love,(based on team needs)

Griffin

Dwight Howard

Choosing either would be a dis-service to the other, can't choose.

Dallas Clark and Joseph Addai hurt, enough said

Patriots vs Jets tonight. Who

Patriots vs Jets tonight. Who wins and by how much? Jets by 7-10.

Oregon vs Auburn. Who wins and by how much? Oregon by at least 10

Bigger ego. LeBron James or Brett Favre? LeBron James.

Hornets are 4-6 their last ten games after a blazing start. Just a mini slump or are they back to Earth? A little of both, I expect them to play a over .500 for the year, but not at the pace they were on early.

Deron Williams and Chris Paul have sat at the top for years. Which player's spot is most threatened by Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook? CP3, only because if he gets injured again, many will say he has been passed up.

The Spurs are currently the best team in basketball, but can they beat the Lakers in the playoffs? I don't think so.

Who goes top five in 2008 draft if it's re-done today? Rose, Lopez, Westbrook, Kevin Love, Eric Gordon?

ROY... Who wins? John Wall or Blake Griffin? Blake Griffin

Who's the front runner for MVP right now? D12, but if they start winning again CP3 should be.

Better coach. Phil Jackson or Greg Poppovich? Phil.

Peyton Manning. 11 interceptions the last three games, quite a few during the clutch. Too much of a load on his shoulders, or just bad mistakes? Probably just a bad stretch. Also it's not very commonly known (used to be) that Manning isn't all that clutch in big games.

Worst team in the NBA. Clippers, Timberwolves, Kings or Wizards? T-Wolves.

choices

Patriots vs Jets tonight. Jets by 6 points. I'll say they pick off Brady in the final minutes and seal the deal

Oregon vs Auburn. Auburn by 10.

Bigger ego. LeBron James - In 7 years he went from humble high schooler to "I don't give a F**K what people think." (even though kids look up to him smh)

Hornets are 4-6 their last ten games after a blazing start. Bakc to Earth - that trade messed up chemistry and they better make a better move FAST if they want CP3 around after next season

Deron Williams and Chris Paul have sat at the top for years. Right Now I'll say CP3 because his supporting cast stinks and he is coming off a serious injury.

The Spurs are currently the best team in basketball, but can they beat the Lakers in the playoffs? Yes, I think they can. They have all the tools to do so but it is the Lakers and they find ways to win it when it matters now.

Who goes top five in 2008 draft if it's re-done today? Derrick Rose, Brook Lopez, Russell Westbrook, OJ Mayo, and Mike beasley

ROY... Who wins? I'll go out and say IF the Wizards sneak into the playoffs and he keeps up 18 and 9 assists and 2 steals, Wall will win

Who's the front runner for MVP right now? I really like Westbrook, he is so important for the success of the Thunder who play in one of the hardest conferences.

Better coach. Phil Jackson or Greg Poppovich? Phil Jackson, but its VERY close

Peyton Manning. 11 interceptions the last three games, quite a few during the clutch. Bad mistakes plus a depleted roster

Worst team in the NBA. Clippers, Timberwolves, Kings or Wizards? Kings, too many gaps in their roster right now. Hope they get Kyrie this season

Jets by 6 Auburn by 14 Lebron

Jets by 6

Auburn by 14

Lebron James

Back to earth

Paul. Any injury that hurts his quickness would really be a detriment to his game. Williams can rely on his size and strength (ala Billups) for years even after losing a step.

Yes, Splitter will prove to be a big addition in the playoffs against the Lakers defensively and Parker,Ginobili,Duncan are playing well.

Rose, Westbrook, Lopez, Love, Gordon (Nice pick-up by the Celts with Erden at 50)

Griffin

Chris Paul

Jackson. Too many rings and with two franchises as well.

Too much of a load right now. Hard to pass effectively without a running game to offset things.

Kings. Less upside on their roster than the other teams.

I like the Jets in this game.

I like the Jets in this game. It will be a tough game though, and the Pats could win, but I'm 50/50. I just think the Jets will win by a TD.

Oregon vs Auburn. Who wins and by how much? I have Auburn by 10.

Bigger ego. LeBron James or Brett Favre? Lebron James

Hornets are 4-6 their last ten games after a blazing start. Just a mini slump or are they back to Earth? I think they'll be a playoff team at the end of the year, so min-slump?

Deron Williams and Chris Paul have sat at the top for years. Which player's spot is most threatened by Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook? Chris Paul will fall in the eyes of many if the Hornets and their shaky roster don't make the playoffs, so I'll say Chris Paul.

The Spurs are currently the best team in basketball, but can they beat the Lakers in the playoffs? I think they are the #1 contender in the West.

Who goes top five in 2008 draft if it's re-done today? Rose, Westbrook, Lopez, Beasley, and Eric Gordon.

ROY... Who wins? John Wall or Blake Griffin? Blake Griffin.

Who's the front runner for MVP right now? Chris Paul.

Better coach. Phil Jackson or Greg Poppovich? In terms of pure coaching ability, Popovich. In terms of dealing with egos and having more sophistication, Coach Jackson.

Peyton Manning. 11 interceptions the last three games, quite a few during the clutch. Too much of a load on his shoulders, or just bad mistakes? Too much of a load. Last year he got their receivers to overachieve, but now? There just isn't a very good corp of receivers at his disposal.

Worst team in the NBA. Clippers, Timberwolves, Kings or Wizards? I'd say the T'Wolves are.

My answers

Patriots vs Jets tonight. Who wins and by how much? Jets 28-24. I feel like they have the Pats number, seems to be the case.

Oregon vs Auburn. Who wins and by how much? Oregon 112-3. Seriously, I take Oregon 46-32. I have to go with the Ducks though, have to.

Bigger ego. LeBron James or Brett Favre? Ooh, tough one. I will go with Favre, he never has thought he has done anything wrong, if LeBron is that bad by the time he is Favre's age, he will take the crown. Not too mention, I feel in the grand scape of things, LeBron will end up being a better player in his sport than Favre was in his.

Hornets are 4-6 their last ten games after a blazing start. Just a mini slump or are they back to Earth? Back to earth. I still think they will be a play-off team, but they will be in the 5-8 range rather than a home court squad.

Deron Williams and Chris Paul have sat at the top for years. Which player's spot is most threatened by Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook? I am going to say Chris Paul. I stand by my opinion of Deron Williams being the best PG in the league right now, but honestly, neither Williams nor Paul were putting up the numbers those two are. The PG position could see major changes in rankings really soon.

The Spurs are currently the best team in basketball, but can they beat the Lakers in the playoffs? I still do not think so. They do not have the depth at big, and the Lakers still have Kobe. They are playing incredible basketball, but I still think that the Lakers will win the west with little challenge.

Who goes top five in 2008 draft if it's re-done today?

1. Derrick Rose
2. Russell Westbrook
3. Eric Gordon (You said today, and right now I would actually take him over anyone else besides the first two.)
4. Kevin Love
5. Michael Beasley

ROY... Who wins? John Wall or Blake Griffin? Sticking with Wall as my pick, though at current point he has some catching up to do. Both of their teams are bad, but Blake's team is so bad that it may keep him from winning the award.

Who's the front runner for MVP right now? If you take into account how I believe the season will play out, than I think it is Kobe Bryant. He will be right in the mix for the scoring title and I still think the Lakers finish with the West's best record. Other players may have a better case right now, but none of them have the proven consistency of Kobe. He ties LeBron James (feels strange to say that)

Better coach. Phil Jackson or Greg Poppovich? Phil. Pop is great, he has done a wonderful job with the Spurs, but I think Phil is the ultimate basketball coach. You can of course make the classic argument of him having amazing teams, but if you use that than what exactly is your case for Pop? Championship teams are good teams, and no one is better at taking amazing players and helping them realize how to lift their teammates level of play. He makes leaders, he is a leader, he is a winner.

Peyton Manning. 11 interceptions the last three games, quite a few during the clutch. Too much of a load on his shoulders, or just bad mistakes?
At first I was going to go with bad mistakes, but he has honestly way too much of a load on his shoulders. Peyton always elevates the play of those around him, but when you are without the talent and consistency of his best targets, than he will be prone to mistakes. He completed 36-48 passes this past weekend, 1/3 of his incompletions were critical turnovers, and it is a matter of receivers not being in the right place. Any great quarterback needs to develop reps with his targets, and even Peyton Manning, who I think is the quickest and best at doing so in the entire NFL, has struggled with doing that due to injuries. You lose Joseph Addai, who is a critical part of the passing game that Indy has yet to replace (Donald Brown has been incredibly disappointing). Throw in Peyton's favorite target and maybe the best offensive TE in the NFL outside of Antonio Gates in Dallas Clark, you are in trouble. But, even with Jacob Tamme playing pretty well, the loss of Austin Collie, who was a fill-in himself for Pierre Garcon earlier in the season and the inevitable loss of Anthony Gonzalez (unfortunately at a point where his presence is sorely needed), Peyton is running out of targets. He can only throw to Reggie Wayne so many times (14 on Sunday, I mean, damn), but the guy obviously needs some help. You can question his ability, but if you watch him play, you know he is still second to none as far as that goes. It has been a tough year for the Colts, and the injuries may be what ultimately kill them. I am not saying Peyton has not had his share of brash passes and costly INT's, but I never count him out and I still think the Colts have a good shot at the play-offs. Jacksonville has been all over the place too, and they still have a show down in Indy. But, if they do not beat the Titans on Thursday, I will say it is game over. But, I still think Peyton Manning has many good years left in him, but going through as many players as he has in a short amount of time has been a killer to him this season.

Worst team in the NBA. Clippers, Timberwolves, Kings or Wizards?
Going into the season, I would be surprised the Raptors were not listed. But, a few games in, the Clippers appear to be the most futile squad in the league. It is not just due to the fact that they have the poorest record right now, but they have so little depth and just as little cohesion. They are the classic team that fumbles a big lead or loses a close game. They have aging former All-Stars (guess Kaman never was, but plenty were ready to put him on the team), that constantly get hurt and their front line outside of Blake Griffin is incredibly raw. Eric Gordon has been playing quite well and Blake has exploded as of late, but they still seem to come up short. I think there defense is near the worst in the league and their youth and inexperience kill them. I honestly thought the Clippers might compete for a play-off spot, but I was way off. Aminu and Bledsoe have shown flashes, but they are not starters for a winning basketball team at this point in their career. Plus, outside of Rasual Butler, they have no one who has been known to be anything close to a consistent outside shooter. The Clippers definitely need some help at multiple positions, and I think the wing would be a good place to start as any. That Baron Davis contract at this point (you know, the time where Sterling finally spent money to get a big name free agent) is looking AWFUL. Hope it does not stop him from trying to sign others Clippers fans, but do not hold your breath.

Patriots vs Jets tonight. Who

Patriots vs Jets tonight. Who wins and by how much?

Patriots, 28-17.

Oregon vs Auburn. Who wins and by how much?

Auburn, 48-38

Bigger ego. LeBron James or Brett Favre?

Brett Favre. At least Lebron is good at what he does still.

Hornets are 4-6 their last ten games after a blazing start. Just a mini slump or are they back to Earth?

Back to earth. Should be a 6-8 seed playoff team, which is fine. But they are not legit contenders.

Deron Williams and Chris Paul have sat at the top for years. Which player's spot is most threatened by Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook?

CP3. The injuries, and the fact that hes less consistant. Deron Williams is a machine in Utah and he just keeps on doing what hes doing with no sign of slowing up.

The Spurs are currently the best team in basketball, but can they beat the Lakers in the playoffs?

I would pick Utah and Dallas as the most likely West teams to knock off LA, so I will say No.

Who goes top five in 2008 draft if it's re-done today?

1. Rose 2. Westbrook 3. Love 4. Mayo 5. Beasely

ROY... Who wins? John Wall or Blake Griffin?

Griffin. Both are on bad teams, Griffin is more productive, and Wall's team shouldnt be that bad.

Who's the front runner for MVP right now?

Very hard... Rose or Westbrook. They have meant the most to their teams. Orlando hasnt played anybody and CP3's team has been horrible lately.

Better coach. Phil Jackson or Greg Poppovich?

Phil. Rings dont lie. Poppovich is amazing, and the fact hes been able to do it with his system and keep the same core together is great. But regardless of talent, 11 fricken rings wins out.

Peyton Manning. 11 interceptions the last three games, quite a few during the clutch. Too much of a load on his shoulders, or just bad mistakes?

Mix of both. I look at Wayne/Garcon/White/Tamme, and to me, they seem pretty good. Hes never had a running game, so thats nothing new. The line has disapointed, and put more pressure on him, but some of these passes are obviously forced.

Worst team in the NBA. Clippers, Timberwolves, Kings or Wizards?

The Cavs. They are aweful. Mo Williams wouldnt be the best player on any of the 4 teams you mentioned. Joey Graham wouldnt be starting on any of the 4 teams you mentioned.

Bigger ego. LeBron James or Brett Favre? Brett Favre cannot stop retiring and unretiring

Hornets are 4-6 their last ten games after a blazing start. Just a mini slump or are they back to Earth? They are back to earth and will probably end u 6-8

Deron Williams and Chris Paul have sat at the top for years. Which player's spot is most threatened by Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook? This is a tough one to pick I would say Deron Wiliiams since Chris Paul will probably leave New Orleans in two years to a more glossy high profile team

The Spurs are currently the best team in basketball, but can they beat the Lakers in the playoffs?

No

Who goes top five in 2008 draft if it's re-done today?

Rose Westbrook Love Lopez Beasley

Patriots vs Jets tonight. Who

Patriots vs Jets tonight. Who wins and by how much? - Patriots win by 10. Patriots pass defense hasn't been all that good, but I don't think Mark Sanchez has a good game tonight.

Oregon vs Auburn. Who wins and by how much? - Oregon wins by 3. It will be a scoring fest and there will be NO defense in this game, but I believe that Oregon leads the nation is scoring a will outscore Auburn by just a hair.

Bigger ego. LeBron James or Brett Favre? - Brett Favre. You would think I say LeBron because I'm a HUGE Brett Favre fan and I dislike LeBron, but I have to say Brett because he clearly isn't healthy enough to be starting and it seems like he trying to play through the pain just to keep his streak alive.

Hornets are 4-6 their last ten games after a blazing start. Just a mini slump or are they back to Earth? - Back to Earth. I didn't have high expectations on this team coming into the season because of their lack of talent, and it seems like their recent record is showin that.

Deron Williams and Chris Paul have sat at the top for years. Which player's spot is most threatened by Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook? - Derrick Rose. He just has a bigger household name and is known for taking his team in the playoffs in his 1st season, therefore, e's talked about more. That being said, Westbrook is not far behind.

The Spurs are currently the best team in basketball, but can they beat the Lakers in the playoffs? - No. The Lakers were on a mini-slump, but they aren't even fully healthy. Once Bynum and Ratliff come back, the sky is the limit. And, the Spurs don't have enough depth.

Who goes top five in 2008 draft if it's re-done today? - 1. Derrick Rose, 2. Russell Westbrook, 3. Eric Gordon, 4. Kevin Love, 5. Brook Lopez

ROY... Who wins? John Wall or Blake Griffin? - I have to say Blake Griffin. Wall really lost momentum with the injuries, and Blake has garnered attention for his gravity-defying dunks. And, I think Griffin more load on his team then Wall does. The ROY race isn't as far as it seems. Wall's production is still good but Griffin is gerring more attention because of his dunks. Wall has a chance though, mainly because the Wizards are better then the Clippers.

Who's the front runner for MVP right now? - Kobe. Coming into the season, LeBron & KD were the frontrunners for MVP, but Kobe's team is better than both of their's and he has better productin so far.

Better coach. Phil Jackson or Greg Poppovich? - Phil Jackson. Just going by on the rings on this one.

Peyton Manning. 11 interceptions the last three games, quite a few during the clutch. Too much of a load on his shoulders, or just bad mistakes? - Too much of a load on his shoulders. His offensive line is TERRIBLE, and he has limited weapons around him. There have been multiple RB injuries, so they can't use the run game as much to take the load off his shoulders, and, he has NO wide receivers. With all the injuries at WR, Peyton is stuck throwing to guys like Jacob Tamme. Jacob Tamme?!? Who heard of him coming into the season?

Worst team in the NBA. Clippers, Timberwolves, Kings or Wizards? - Kings. Clippers & Wizards can't stay healthy, T-Wolves suck, but they have a brighter roster than the Kings. The Kings just suck right now and have the least upside out of all the teams just mentioned.

Bigger ego. LeBron James or Brett Favre? Thats a tie

Deron Williams and Chris Paul have sat at the top for years. Which player's spot is most threatened by Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook? Chris paul

The Spurs are currently the best team in basketball, but can they beat the Lakers in the playoffs? Not likely if Bynum's healthy

Who goes top five in 2008 draft if it's re-done today? Rose, Westbrook, Love, Beasley, Gordon

ROY... Who wins? John Wall or Blake Griffin? Blake Griffin

Who's the front runner for MVP right now? Dwight Howard

Better coach. Phil Jackson or Greg Poppovich? Greg Poppovich

Peyton Manning. 11 interceptions the last three games, quite a few during the clutch. Too much of a load on his shoulders, or just bad mistakes? combination of both

Patriots Win Ducks beat

Patriots Win

Ducks beat Tigers

Down to earth

Lebron

CP3

Nope. The Lakers are just amazing come playoff time. Sometimes I think "does the season even matter to the team." I mean seriously if they finish 3rd they will still play amazing in the playoffs and probably will three-peat. But Utah and Dallas probably do have the best chance of beating them.

top five 2008 draft: Rose, Westbrook, Beasley, Love, Gordon

MVP front runner: Deron Williams. 21pts 10 assists. Winning team. Very consistent, and could probably beat the Magic, Celts, and Lakers the way they are playing. That last game in Dallas was just screw up. Everyone had an off game, tonight they'll be on again and will start another winning streak. And besides this Saturday, Utah will play Dallas once again, and this time should be a better contest.

Better Coach: Phil Jackson. Can't beat the Zen Master. Especially when it comes to playoff time.

Bad decisions. I think teams have finally started to figure him out. He is still very good and a franchise quarterback but just like the Suns or the Mavs they should probably invest in a new QB in this draft, and start training him to be the eventual starter once Payton retires. The end is near. They're 6-6 on the season, I mean part of it is a very tough schedule but after going almost undefeated last season, and now right at .500 time to find another franchise QB and start training him to replace Peyton.

Worst team: Clips. They need to trade Baron Davis or Kaman for a 3. The other one needs to be traded for a Center. Or just get the heck out of LA.

im surprised how many people

im surprised how many people dont include roy hibbert in their top 5 from 2008. How many legit inside 7 footers who have a defensive impact are available out there? And behind beasley? I think beasley is outside the top 5. I mean he is clearly not the best player on his own team and a few people still have him ahead of love which doesnt make sense to me. And aks yourselves right now if hibbert and beasley were offered for each other, which team would decline that trade?

Hibbert isn't the best player

Hibbert isn't the best player on his own team either.

if i had to pick between the two...hmmmmm who are the other players I have on my team?

Right now i'd take hibbert over Lopez

"How many legit inside 7

"How many legit inside 7 footers who have a defensive impact are available out there?"

Roy Hibbert is scoring and rebounding more, but he's not an impact player on D. It's actually closer to the contrary. I do agree it's harder to find a productive 7 footer than a scorer like Beasley though. It was a tough choice, and I don't think you can go wrong either way. Especially since they are at the same stage.

quincey, i only pointed out

quincey, i only pointed out beasley not being the best player on his team becasue he is listed by some people ahead of love. If hibbert was playing alongised another 2008 draftee who was more important to the team, then the same argument would apply.

By some People?..You mean by all people..lol. But yeah to me it depends on what my team has or need. Neither IMO is someone you pick reguardless of need. But like iggy said you can't go wrong eeither way so id go by what my team needs

Every single mock draft i saw and ever chat room had Beasley ahead of Love. The only question was Bwasley or Rose never Beasley or Love
