Cuts I’m pretty sure about:

Kyle Korver – He only played three minutes vs Brazil and didn’t play vs DR. He’s a great shooter, but doesn’t do anything else. Team USA has great shooters in Curry and Thompson, plus a couple more solid shooters. 

Chandler Parsons – He only played five minutes vs Brazil and didn’t play vs DR. The addition of Rudy Gay makes him expendable.

I wouldnt consider Faried a lock..In all my years of watching USA International team selecting players they seem to go for guys that can do multiple things.While Faried is a great rebounder and hustle guy,his skills are limited..Even his coach Shaw mentioned it last season..I think he’ll be among the 4 cuts along with Korver and Plumlee..Im not sure about who will be the other player let go….

He started both games. He played 23 minutes the first game and put up 11 points and 9 rebounds. He only played 11 minutes the second game, but that was due to Coach K wanting to look at the reserves. 

I’d be shocked if he was cut based on what reports say he’s done in practice, what he did in the showcase game in Vegas and what he did in the first exhibition game. 

We’ll see though.

Cousins did exactly what he needed last night. 1-1 2pts but 8 rebounds in limited minutes. 

Imo coach k should start cousins at the C and Davis at the PF especially against a team like Spain who have the gasol brothers and serge ibaka

seems like coach k feel in love with the hustle,rebounding,athleticism and high energy that faried brought to the team,not surprised he made it…but im a little surprise about plumlee….
