I May Be WrongParticipanthttp://www.nba.com/bobcats/release_brown_101222.html
Wow! kinda unexpected to be honest. He made the team competitive but they really do not have much offensive threats on this team. Guess they needed a scapegoat for their horrible start..What next for the Hall of Fame coach?

dmo21ParticipantIs Charlotte gonna have a fire sale, good bye Jackson, goodbye Wallace? Maybe Larry wants to go coach the Heat to rack up some wins.

Meditated StatesParticipantI think the media for some reason plugs him as that. One title does not back that up. Guys get sick of his sh!t real quick. He either stepped down or have a firing on his resume. I knew this would happen soon. The team was playing in a fashion that usually leads to a coach getting fired. Larry can’t have that on his resume so he left. Makes sense. They never should have let Felton go. Larry does not adapt well to his talent he expects all of them to adapt to him.

Sonny RedParticipantI’m never surprised to see Larry Brown leave a place unexpectedly, he has done it throughout his career. He is a great coach but very prone to burning out within five years of being with a team. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was done with coaching for good now though, he is getting old. One thing I never liked about Brown is his failure to play young guys.

sheltwon3ParticipantI think maybe a faster style may be better for the personell. Also Brown is the guy that pretty much let Chandler get away for nothing. They traded for some players they will never use. MJ was the GM but you have to believe Brown had a lot of say so in personell moves.

Bossy13ParticipantBrown probably did have some say but after this summer it was pretty obvious he didnt anymore. It was Brown that wanted to make the Calderon for Chandler deal that MJ struck down. Then MJ gave away Chandler for nothing. Brown thought he was getting a veteran, pass first, efficient pg to run his offense and ended up with Matt Carrol. I’d quit to if those are the kinds of moves the franchise is making.
