Checked into the game (Raptors vs Pacers) with 4 minutes in the 1st qaurter and got a standing ovation. Kinda got caught up in it and shot a brick first chance he got. Is this his first gane back. Fans seem elated to have him back.

I am happy he is back, but this is a way different team with a different coach and to think he is the guy to turn it around in the space of 2 weeks is a bit naive.
I think Indiana should have grabbed him a month or so ago if they truly wanted to get him back, but he is a ball dominant wing (like Stuckey and Ellis) who doesn’t really fit the mold of this team apart from pushing it on the break.

Indiana IMO is done and they have really tested me as a fan. PG13 is my fave player and honestly for the sake of him along with Indiana I hope he gets traded in the off season to a contender and brings some young talent and picks back to Indiana in return.

It’s a shame Lance has come back in this situation, but I hope next season we can see a bit of what he did in Memphis last season and provide Pacers fans with entertainment whilst they develop.

Defenitely brought them a huge spark today. He is a punk though. Completely unprofessional. Laid the ball up with 3 seconds left in the game when he should have dribbled out the clock. Wouldnt fight Derozan after.

That’s who Lance is and that is why Larry got him back, I love the fact he is a dick and is the irrational confidence guy every team needs in Indiana.
I may have jumped the gun on what I said above in terms of moving PG13, IF (big if) he is willing to stay I think a pick in the mid-teens, Myles Turner (expiring deal of Ellis/Jefferson) could bring in another ready to compete talent to play alongside George, Teague (hopefully re-signs), Stephenson and company. (Think we could get Jimmy Butler for Turner, 2017 1st rounder, 2019 first rounder and contaracts to match, yeah me neither)

Would not be opposed to a Turner for Brook Lopez and Celtics pick, Turner gives Brooklyn a young centre piece better than their pick could get them and Indiana gets albeit older player in Lopez a guy hitting his prime who could have role like Love in Cleveland giving Indiana 17-18ppg 7-8rpg the pick I think is fair to come to Indiana due to the potential of Turner Use the mid-teen pick for Wesley Matthews/Wilson Chandler and the acquired Brooklyn pick for Kenneth Faried.

      C. Lopez PF. Faried SF. George SG. Matthews/Chandler PG. Teague Bench: Stephenson, Young, Seraphin (Try get Collison or Jennings as back-up PG) – Could be one heck of a team.

I love how you say that not fighting Derozan is a sign of unprofessionalism, lol. Should a true professional have socked Derozan in the face?

dude, lance has been a punk his whole career. its why he almost didnt get back into the league..

its almost the equivalent of B!tch slapping someone then walking away like nothing is going to happen.. good for derozan for not going after him, but holy hell lance is a paper B!tch..

Derozan didn’t want to fight anyway. If anyone wants to fight they would wait til they get off the court. And if Derozan wanted to pop off he and ample time to do so.

Indiana brought back Lance because they were missing that swag, arrogance, that Brooklyn Bravado. He definitely gave them that spark. Had the Raptors in their feelings lol

I don’t see what the big deal is if he didn’t dribble the ball out..you lost by 17 instead of 15…maybe PJ should of had that much fire during the game not after

Lance is the dog the Pacers lack. He’s the dog this city lacks. I was at the game and he has the entire organization and fan base on fire. I don’t remember the last time the building had that kind of energy. He even turned Jeff Teague (an introvert) into a dog last night. PG has been great for the last month, but now he’s playing with more passion and happiness. Lance’s energy and passion for the game is contagious. PG just lights up when talking about him…

You HAVE to take the "bad" with Lance. I thought he was professional during his post game interview when he apologized to the Raptors organization. To be honest though… I thought those guys overreacted. They flat out got their asses kicked the second half. Lance’s technical was terrible. It needs to be rescinded. Personally, I know the unwritten rule of what he did, but I loved it! Pacers been playing dead all season and needed that edge!

Lance can be an idiot but he does give the team some bite and that will to win and team wanting to be successful probably needs. Guys like Sheed and MWP were slight nutters some time but they helped drive their team on to success and Bruce Bowen at the Spurs did a lot of the dirty work around the star players.

Also perhaps more importantly PG13 might quite like having Lance back on the roster.

If PJ Tucker didn’t shoot a 3 himself instead of running out the clock Lance wouldn’t have had the ball in the first place lmao. Should’ve had that same energy during the game.

If they dont confront him the media would calk them soft like they have with almost every Raptors team Ive watched. Since they did confront him they call them sore losers and the American media never sides with Toronto and always creates a negative angle towards the Raptors. ESPN is portraying Lance as a savior for Indiana right now and completely ignoring the lack of respect for the game while bashing the Raptors for thier response but if you ask ANY ex basketball player at any professional level they have said Stephenson should not have laid up that ball. If Derozan laid that ball up while winning by 15 I can only imagine the articles and statements that would be made to ruin his image.

We all have that one friend that you don’t want to take out into public because you don’t know what he is going to do. But you can’t not take them because you want to see what they are going to do next.

Im with all those who said they liked what they saw from Lance the last 10 secs. I hope every team in the NBA hates each other! It makes it that much more fun to me.

I am not missing the next Pacers vs Toronto game
