Such a sad day. I know a ton of people were hard on Lamar, but he did a lot of wonderful things with his life. I remember when he was on the Heat, watching an interview were he took two young kids who had lost everything in life, and had acted as a father figure to them. This will be my memory of Lamar Odom, not just what he did on the court.
Forget the Kardashian drama, leave that for another topic. It’s a shame what happened to such a young man who had it all.

Oh man this is so sad in so many ways.
I still can’t believe it and this makes me really sad. Unfortunately he didn’t have the guidance to deal with all the setbacks and problems in his life and now this. What a tragedy for all of us. My thoughts are with everyone close to him.

  Seems that this information is not confirmed or not true after all. I did a quick google research with the obvious 3 letters and found multiple news reporting the same when I saw this post. My bad to not have checked this properly and let’s don’t be to harsh with the OP, he obviously had the same information.
  Let’s hope he can somehow overcome this and hope for the best! They are saying multiple of his organs are failing right now and it doesn’t look good.
  Keep on fighting Lamar!!!

I had about 2 spelling/ grammare mistakes, and it happens all the time to everyone, i didn’t fix it, and I couldn’t care less about that, but a report of this magnitude, like I said that is big news to hear first thing in the morning, and then not to be true.

When I saw the topic title, I thought he had sadly bassed away but thankfully he is still hanging in there. I feel really sorry for his family with this after he lost a child only a few years back.
It’s sad that Lamar ended up in such a sad position as he had been a model pro for many years, happily taking on a 6th man role for his team’s good when he could have looked to have gone elsewhere to become one of the main focuses of a team.

  I’m sorry, but this is one of the dumbest things I’ve read in awhile. Don’t know much about Pitt or DiCaprio, but have they ever been caught smoking crack in a whorehouse? In case y’all missed it, Odom was found unresponsive in a whorehouse due to overdosing on crack. Let me repeat that: Lamar Odom was smoking crack in a whorehouse. "The white media" has absolutely nothing to do with that, and it seems that if you overdose while smoking crack at a fucking whorehouse then your life has in fact spiraled out of control. It’s almost 2016 guys. "The Black Card" is played out. Eddie Murphy got caught with a damn tranny hooker and his career seems fine. Well, actually he hasn’t made a good movie since the late 80’s, but you get my point.

He’s saying that the issues in his life are his and his family’s to deal with, and the media has no business snooping around and trying to find dirt on him at the expense of him and his family. By titling the video, "Life has spiraled out of control", they’re dismissing what he’s saying, which is completely true. Everyone has their issues, and whether or not you judge them for it is up to you. Lamar’s had to deal with many lifetimes worth of tragedy, and it doesn’t mean he hasn’t acted recklessly, but I just think it’s irresponsible of reporters to paint him in the way they see fit. Media outlets like TMZ slander him because he’s an easy target is my point…he’s still a human being jesus christ

As I posted in the other Odom thread, he’s not dead. He’s had brain damage due to a stroke, and is in a coma. He’s still very critical and may not survive, even if he does survive he will have serious repercussions from the stroke.
It’s really not cool to say he’s dead when he’s not, I know you probably didn’t mean it but do a little research first…

    I just hope people close to him realise how serious his personal situation is and that he really really needs guidance from now on.
    Many celebs, athletes and high profile VIPs were shocked and concerned what happend to Lamar recently and I hope some of this guys really care about him and don’t ‘forget’ this whole thing in todays media world where nothing is more important than the next big storyline. I don’t know how close Kobe is for example with him and if it’s true he left the game to visit him in the hospital and don’t want to call him or the often mentioned Lakers Family out but actions are needed to get this guy back into a real life and the Kardeshians don’t belong to my list of prefered group of people who should ‘take care’ of this guy.
    I really hope he gets through this and finds reasons to dedicate his life apart from drugs and whores.
