llperezlooking forward to this game. Boozer is back for the bulls and they will want to prove themsleves against the lakers. FOr the lakers they have not been too impressive recently and need to send a statement against a good team on the road.

llperezpau looks as movitated as hes looked all year. You could tell he was embarrassed by his performance against the clippers. A couple LA sportswriters said his clipper game the other night was the worst hes ever played as a laker so hopefully that woke him up.

llperezbulls end half on 19 – 3 run to take 4 point lead. Less fisher please. Throws the ball out of bounds with 5 seconds reminaing and then gives rose an easy basket to finish the half.

I May Be WrongParticipantwell, I was thinking about this. Should the Lakers look for a replacement for Fisher and put him on the bench? I mean, he can be great off the bench and provide leadership but he’s only great for 20-25 minutes I think and there’s a young PG movement right now and I feel like the lakers can benefit by making a trade for a younger player (I would say Jarret Jack)
But thats just my opinion. What are your thoughts?

llperezI dont know. They win with him, he knows the offense, hes a leader and makes smart decisions normally, is clutch. But damn he is probably the worst starting pg in the league. I cant question success though so i just roll with it.

llperezi defenitely dont think they should trade him. His value goes beyond the basketball court.

llperezthats pretty much the only reason to stick with fisher. theyve proven they can win with him so just ride it.

marcusfizer21ParticipantGreat job by the Bulls… It feels great to beat the defending champs! Well, the Lakers did start strong and I thought it’d be a blowout but DRose definitely puts them back in the game… He’s been averaging solid numbers ESPECIALLY his assists… I think people should stop saying stuff like how DRose can’t make his teammates better because his performance have spoken otherwise… Great game

JoeWolf1I just got off work in time to see the end! Go Bulls although I have idea what happened except for a cyclo style glance at the box score.

JNixonParticipantDerrick Rose is phenomenal. Simply phenomenal. He improves something new every year. If he begins to shoot the deep ball as efficient and as good as this year in the future, but doesn’t settle too much, he has a legit shot to be the best PG in the NBA by as soon as next season. He is a very strong playmaker for others and he’s probably the best scoring PG in the game. He simply takes over games and carries his teammates.

JoeWolf1I don’t know the stats to back it up, but the Bulls have won at least a hand full of games that they were trailing going in to the 4th quarter and you’re right Iggy, it’s Derrick Rose. The guy is a flat out finisher, and I didn’t see the game tonight, but from what I’ve seen heen was just doing whatever he wanted against the defending champs.

JNixonParticipantHe hit big shot after big shot, and he created well for his teammates. Joakim Noah dropped/blew about 2 or 3 shots at the rim that Rose set up. Rose got his, and was unselfish about involving teammates as well. He was outstadning in this game. Played beautifully.

NYK2010ParticipantThis game was kind of sloppy 39 turnovers total and neither team really went to the free throw line much.
I didn’t realize Gasol averages over 4 asts a game thats crazy for a Center.
Fisher and Artest 9 combined pts that was weak and where was the Lakers bench only Barnes played well.
Rose is really improving he really carried them tonite, if he hits 3’s consistently gonna be a nightmaire to cover.
Noah def. missed a lot of shots at the rim, Taj Gibson didn’t have a good game either.

QUINCEY HODGES1Would trade fisher either. We all know how the Lakers and Fisher are in the regular season. I dont like it but it is what it is. Come playoff time Everyone steps up. Although they revert to regular season form once or twice every series
