Apprently theres rumours of Melo going to the Lakers in a trade, and they do need a young star to take over once Kobe starts slowing down. So would this idea work, what might the lakers need to add to make it work??

i heard this too, although it was a 3 team trade with chris paul also ending up with the lakers for carracter and ebanks.

I’m in no way a laker fan at all, but after this Joe Smith trade, they have some extra 5 mil to use or something like that, and the timing of the trade right as Bynum was returning, so i was wondering if it could/would work.
