Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThe Thunder are playing with great energy and Westbrook has gotten into the paint about 3 or 4 times already. Sefolosha with back to back threes.

flyboyParticipantThunder are executing offensively, but the defense has to get better for the Lakers, particular P&R defense and on penetration. Pau is having a good game and Thabo is making the shots he needs to make.

flyboyParticipantIs not good for the Lakers right now. OKC is completely outhustling them. Making their open shots.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThis is when you realize just how much Bynum and the Laker’s length is worth. Bynum has back to back baskets along with a block in the last 45 seconds. Odom and Bynum have scored 8 of the last 13 Laker points.
Gasol, Bynum, and Odom account for 25 of the 38 Laker points for the game.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantArtest’s defense on Durant was down right stifiling. He was being extrememly physical and not letting him get the ball in his spots.

The lake show2Yeah but the Lakers have looked like this before this year, we know what they can do but the problem is they dont always do it( in the regular season)

flyboyParticipantThe defense really got so much better in the second half. Much more activity, much better on the P&R and more physical. OKC took a lot more jumpers in the second half instead of the open looks from the paint they had often in the first half. The size difference really played a huge impact on the game, Bynum/Gasol/Odom are just so big and long, extremely hard covers for a team that, without Perkins, lacks the same size. Artest is definitely a difficult defender for Durant because of his physicality and tenacity, and because his footwork and anticipation is good to the point he can play close to Durant and take away his openings. Kobe directed play well, didn’t force much and of course, made the clutch turn-around jumper over Thabo there at the end. Great game to watch.

jerb2011ParticipantKevin Durant annoys me so much when he settles for bad jumpshots. He needs to start attacking the rim more aggressively. He will never have Ron Artest play off of him if he doesn’t attack Ron Artest more.

The lake show2That’s because he knows Durant isn’t that strong at going to the rim against him. That’s his weakness against Artest
