IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Lakers have won six in a row and are playing better defense… This should be a great test versus the Spurs, who are playing great as well.
Lakers off to a great start.

llperezlakers have played focused every game since the all-star break going 6-0 except the minnesota game where they just played as hard as they needed to get the win. Looking forward to seeing them reinstate themselves as the favorites going into th eplayoffs.

jjonzParticipanti like how they have opened up their game more. i think it started over the summer when they resigned RJefferson after he struggled in that system last year.

Sonny RedParticipantThis is why I wasn’t worried when people were talking about how the Lakers were struggling earlier in the season, this team is too good to struggle for more then a few games. When the role players on the Lakers are hitting shots like they have early today they are very hard to beat. They also have three big men who can play which no other team in the league has, cant forget they have the best player in the game Kobe also.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Lakers are just too big. A healthy Bynum, Gasol and Odom is just too much.
This might be the best the Lakers have played all season.

The lake show2I never worried, even if we were losing i wouldn’t worry because this is a team that turns it on in the playoffs. There will be people who jump on saying they think the lakers will win it again( same ones who were in other post saying they are to old and this is the year they don’t make it etc. I have that forum saved for when we win it again lol). I actually have less of a worry that the Lakers will when it all after the Celtics traded Perkins( not a bad trade for the future but i have no doubt now that they can’t beat the Lakers. I think the OKC thunder is the next team to take the mantle. I think there transition is similar to Chicago when they finally overtook Boston/Det. Young team that gets better every year and gets more playoff experience while there top players are still young

The lake show2You would be correct but Dallas always melts down in the playoffs. Don’t be surprised to see them lose in the first round yet again

Jlv2011the team with two consecutive championships. The playoffs are a different environment and the Lakers future will be decided in the Western Conference Finals this upcoming season.
