KevinDurantRocksParticipantIf the Lakers were to blow everything up (the way Magic Johnson says they will) would this be an option (the main part being that Magic would trade Dwight Howard.) If you disagree with the Magic trade please don’t mark me down to much.http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3uhedzr

BouncyBallParticipantThe lakers don’t need three starting point guards in fisher, williams, and nelson. Plus this will leave a whole at the small forward position.

NJHooper95ParticipantThe lakers have made some stupid moves financially. Artest is owed 7million for the next three season- He is untradeable. Luke Walton serves no purpose at 6 Million for the next two seasons- Who will take him? Steve Blake bad signing at 4 million for the next 3season-terrible move. Derek Fisher 3.5 Million for the next two seasons, My GOD. The lakers have brought in vets that are on their last leg. They have no youth to build around outside of Bynum. Even if somehow they make a miraculous comeback in this series, this team is will soon become a struggling playoff contender.

KevinDurantRocksParticipantI agree with you Erik but the point is Fisher is old and Bryant is getting older. Williams and Nelson will take the load off and open up the floor (this was the problem with Dallas). Also they can always pick up Prince or another small forward during the summer. They do lose Gasol in this trade but they get more athletic and Howard and Smith will be blocking shots and making defensive plays

SteroidParticipantFisher is a good leader and whatnot, but he probably wouldn’t start on more than half of the NBA teams. They need more youth in the backcourt because the Lakers are the worst fastreak team and the worst defending the fast break. A core player outside Kobe needs to go. This team is becoming stagnant.

cward23ParticipantMagic is a dummy. They should not blow up everything. They should get a PG and a bench though.
