Burymeinakobebryantnumber8ParticipantThis is what the lakers need to do this offseason first go ahead and draft Julius randle with the 7th pick because he probably will be available and had a great workout in el segundo at the lakers facility! His attitude is good too he seems like he wants to be a laker more then smart! If not I go with Aaron Gordon who will at the least be a Shawn Marion type! I like them both but he plays better defense but I still go with randle ! Then I go and sign Kyle Lowry for a smaller contract of like 3 yrs 30 million and lure him with the the 3 ws , women weed and weather! (Kendrick voice) then get the hometown discount for Trevor eatin a who is a former laker and inglewood boy who would love to come home again and play for the purple and gold because parsons and luol deng will want too much money! Then re sign Pau gasol for a small 2 yr 18-20 mill contract! That’s a starting lineup of Lowry, Kobe, Ariza, randle or Gordon and pau! I like that line up! Then u re sign Meeks , Xavier Henry, and kent bazemore, and u let swaggyp and jordan hill walk because they both will want too much money! That team I think can at least make the playoffs and take us out of irrelevance

MastaRedSnappaParticipant… a rim protector out of the center position. Unfortunately, Pau Gasol isn’t one. They could probably sign Emeka Okafor for half the cost of Gasol too and get more rim protection out of it. I would go for Lowry or Bledsoe at 4 years/$40 million (Lance Stephenson could be an option here too), re-sign Meeks for 3 years/$9-12 million, move Kobe to SF, and draft Vonleh/Randle/Gordon. Then I would offer to take on either Omer Asik’s contract from the Rockets (so they can go after Melo) or DeAndre Jordan’s contract from the Clippers (so they can go after LeBron) for their first round picks. If neither one happens, go after Okafor for 2 years/$10-12 million. So the line-up would look like this (Nash may need to be stretch-waived for this to work for Asik/Jordan):
PG – Lowry/Bledsoe, Marshall, Nash
SG – Meeks, Bazemore
SF – Kobe, X. Henry, W. Johnson
PF – Vonleh/Randle/Gordon, Kelly
C – Asik/Jordan/Okafor, SacrePlus possibly either the Rockets or Clippers first round picks (#25 and #28 respectively). They could use the pick on someone like Tyler Ennis, Jerami Grant, Spencer Dinwiddie, Clint Capela, Nick Johnson, Mitch McGary etc. Barring a rash of injuries like last season, I think this team could compete for the 8th seed in the playoffs next year.
