More injuries for the Lakers again, with Blake (out indefinitely) and Nash/Meeks doubtful, adding to the spree of injuries for the Lakers this years: is this another proof that adding older player after older player isn't the way to go when you want to win a championship? Basically the only above-average young player for the Lakers is Howard, with Nash, Bryant, Metta, Gasol and even Jamison and Blake all being on the wrong side of 30. The Lakers are nog just in problems this season, but also the upcoming season in my opinion: no cap space, older injury-prone players who just get older and a superstar young star who is coming of back-surgery and isn't known to be a big winner. Anyone seeing a bright spot for purple & gold?
Lakers need some DTA players (Defense, Threes, Athleticism)
Heat: Mario Chalmers
Celtics: Avery Bradley
*Credit Bill Simmons for the acronym
the players have given up on this season all ready, but Stern and his "Company Men" refuse to let them die.
Old Players are more likely to get hurt (recover slower) then young players.
