bobbybParticipantOk before i get the negatives hear me out. The Clippers bullied the Lakers tonite. They are much more physical than Lakers. Artest made alot of hustle plays that dont show in the boxscore. They need his toughness. Does anyone remember the first Celtics finals series?
oh btw Mo Williams in underrated. I know the Lebron apoligists dont think so but i do.

llperezartest brings toughness if nothing else. This is two good games in a row. Maybe he gets it going. But with his contract, his trade value is nilch anyways so no reason to move him.
And i love pau’s aggressiveness tonight right to the end with him bumping cp3 and staring him down and pointing at him. We need more of tonights pau.

F_DA_POParticipantI thought you meant Lakers cannot move Artest because no one wants him.

bobbybParticipantI am starting to dislike cp3, Pau gave Cp3 an " adda boy" and he got all bent out of shape. I am surprise he didnt get ejected when the referee went to break up the mellee and Cp3 threw the referees arm out of the way

llperezi give cp3 credit as a competitor. Ron got his elbow in cp’s grill last time they met and then kinda shoved him away again tonight. But cp kept his cool becasue he knows its a chippy and scrappy game and thats how things are. He gives it so he takes it as well.
Also might have had something to do with not wanting to mess with metta

bobbybParticipantCp3 gets away with a lot, yes kobe does too, but not like cp3. He drives like a running back with a " stiff arm"

ilike.panochasParticipantCP3 always had that fiestiness/”back down to no one” attitude, which is where the Isiah Thomas comparison comes from.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThis could be that turn around game that the Lakers needed. For the first time all season, someone other than Kobe and Bynum, played with an aggressive attitude.
IF Pau plays like this all season, the Lakers will be tough to beat. He was playing with that championship confidence and swagger tonight.
I still don’t like the offense and upgrades at the point and three are needed if they’re to win a title though.

PabloFiascoParticipantYea Metta World Peace can’t go nowhere not yet…he’s inconsistent but if he play like last night he’ll bring fire and passion to the Lakers that they desparately need.
CP3 is a pest no wonder ppl hate playin against him and be throwin chip shots at him

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI don’t think you would like a person who’s over a foot taller than you patting you on the head during a game as if you’re their dog. I for one liked that fiestyness, I don’t think Pau Gasol meant anything bad by it but it’s obvious that the intensity of that game was very high and there’s no room for a stupid pat like that.
I can’t believe how much Fisher flops this season. The older he gets, the more he flops, not only that, he’s starting to flop on offense as well now. This is getting ridiculous, he’s actually one of the worst floppers in the league. He flails his arms like a turkey trying to fly. It’s just not happening.
I’ve always thought players should get technicals for flopping. If a guy is going to get a technical for taunting or swinging their arm because they’re "disrespecting the game", then why isn’t a guy who’s trying to lie and flails his arms just as much doesn’t get a tech?

natedogggParticipantArtest played great. he was +20 in 38 minutes off the bench and provided toughness and hustle.
I think this all stemmed from his clash with Reggie Evans in a time out, where Ron is clearly hearded saying ‘Who are you calling soft?’
after that he was on a mission.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantIt was great to see that kind of fire between CP3 and Pau, and Evans/McRoberts. I hate seeing all this buddy-buddy stuff with guys from different teams. I love the rivalries where the guys on opposite teams just plain don’t like each other.
It’s also good to see CP3 and the Clips taking a loss like that the hard way. In the past if the Clips were ever over .500 and played the Lakers close they would probably be satisfied with their effort. Not these Clippers, they expect to win every game they play in.
This is going to be a great battle the rest of the way and I’d love to see both those teams go against each other in the playoffs!
