Lakers 2015 1st Round Draft Pick To The Suns
In 2 years Nash won't have much trade value.
Some, but with the 2nd best center in the NBA, who is also under 30, I think the Lakers will still be a playoff team. I'd suspect it will most likely be in the 16-20 range. I don't think the Lakers will fall off that much and it will end up being a top 5 or anything.

joe,
Would Andrew Bynum want to resign to an aging Lakers team? What if the Rockets roll out the red carpet with a MOREYSANITY offer sheet? You gotta think that Bynum as the go-to guy with Lin, Lamb, Parsons, Motie, T. Jones, and Royce White looks interesting to him. He would even have a legit backup in Omer Asik.
I can not see kobe retiring at 35 unless he has a career ending injury, hes too much of a competitor to walk away from the game if he feels like he has anything left. Plus the lakers always have superstars interested in playing for them so if kobe does retire they will find another superstar to replace him.
This may come back to bite the Lakers. They're in win now mode now though. If Bynum doesn't resign then that may very well be in the lottery. Especially if Kobe retires and Gasol goes to play in Europe to end his career like I read on hoopshype. 2015 HS Class looks very top heavy as well so you never know. And if Kobe retiring they may not be able to sway free agents to sign with them. Would anyone want to play in "Kobe's Shadow"? Alot can happen from now and then though.

Do you think the Lakers 1st round draft pick that the Suns have in 2015 could have some value?
Kobe Bryant said he will retire in 2 years. I don't know if I buy that or not but thats what he said. By the time 2015 comes around Steve Nash will be 3 years older.
