That was a weak period for the NBA when you think about it I thought Boston was over the hill the year they faced the Lakers not sure which year that was and then that Orlando team as well. The league is in a much better place today

That was a weak period in the NBA LOL. Celtics and Lakers were power houses. Lakers could win with that group now if their health was the same as those years. We will be saying some of the same things about team now in a few years. Chemistry and having a star player are huge. Cavs ae basically doing it with Lebron and a hurt Irving. You have guys that other teams gave away who are playing well like JR Smith. If Cavs make the finals with the group they have now, this would be weak year. They don’t even have a complete team.

    Where is he then because I know I saw him sign with a team this year and they have him on Heat’s roster. He may currently be a free agent but so is Aldridge, Duncan etc.

      He played 5 games while on a ten day contract. He was then dropped in favour of giving Tyler Johnson minutes

Its kind of amazing how fast the careers of Odom and bynum derailed after they left the Lakers. Hard to believe that just 3 years ago bynum was neck and neck with Howard for best center in the league and now his career is likely over. I would’ve thought guys like farmar and Shannon brown would’ve at least still been quality reserves .

at the time was happy when he was traded.
Powell. Young talented kid that never got his shot.
Mena. I liked him. But not going to blame kobe for him not being a laker anymore.
Sasha. Yes. It is better to play in Europe then to be stuck behind kobe.
THE Stache. UHM. Dude has more rings then Barkley, Malone. Combined!

Kobe helped them all win championship so I find it hard to believe that they left because of him and he and Gasol are friends.

MWP alas Panda’s friend is playing in Cantù in Italy… Saw him playing yesterday…. Still a decent player for Europe, but would not play 5 minutes in NBA right now…
