Lack of playoff talk

I'm sorry I just don't seem to see as many threads about playoff action this year compared to years past. Is that due to the fact that we all pretty much know that Miami are all but GURANTEED to win it all?

The West is still open,

The West is still open, especially if the Thunder tie things up.

Spurs are good all around. We could witness a LeBron - Duncan rematch.
Does LeBron go back to back or does Timmy get his fifth?

yep

Yeah that's my main reason. I haven't really watched that much NBA this season. It's almost a given that Miami will at least make the Finals. Most likely win it all. There isn't much to talk about. But I'm a Pacer fan and hoping for the upset.

I'm not impressed with the

I'm not impressed with the Heat enough to think they have it automatically. The Heat allowed 19 offensive rebounds by the Bulls tonight, the grizzlies would absolutely abuse them in the post and I wouldn't count out the Spurs and Pacers in that category either. Of course it really relies on how dominant Lebron James can be against these teams, but I don't think its automatic.

I think if the Grizz can get

I think if the Grizz can get past OKC, which I think they will, they could very well pull a massive upset. I dont think anyone in the East will knock out Miami, so assuming they make it to the Finals, I dont see any other team out West besides Memphis being able to take down Miami. The Spurs maybe, The Dubs no chance, and if some how OKC gets out of this Memphis series, I dont see them challenging Miami, barring a miracle recovery from Westbrook, and even then i think it would be a stretch to think OKC could win. Grizzlies size and defensive capacity would give the Heat fits.

I think the Warriors and

I think the Warriors and Grizzlies could both give Miami a run for their money.

Both teams are strong inside and at the point - areas where Miami traditionally struggles - and both have great defensive big men, plus great depth and guys with star power.

It looks like the Rockets killed the Thunder after all, but if the Warriors can make it past the Spurs a Grizzlies-Warriors series would be amazing.

I do think think that Miami is going to win, but I think Memphis has the right style to make it a contest, and their bench has been very impressive too.

The Grizz would kill the

The Grizz would kill the Dubs, their perimeter defense would lock up the Warriors back court and it would become a battle of the bigs and im taking Z-bo and Marc Gasol over banged up David Lee and Bogut.

I never thought the Heat had

I never thought the Heat had an automatic bid into the finals, they just got an easy road to the conference finals. The Pacers, if they advance, gave them problems last year and I certainly don't see them backing down this year. Especially now that Paul George is playing on another level. If they can exploit Miami's front court the way they did the Knicks' in game 3, I don't see why they can't make it to the finals. Now that Wade is going through another injury, it could lean in Indiana's favor. A Pacers/Grizzlies final would be intense.
