The lakers should draft a pg or a sg for the draft, and the best two candidates are Lance Stephenson or Mikhail Torrance

If Phil Jackson stays, I think Lance Stephenson is a high risk, high reward kind of guy. When Phil pushes Lance, he will either crack under the pressure, or use it as motivation to get better. If LA gets Lance, he won’t have too many minutes, might just get pissed and not try hard in practice

torrance is the perfect triangle point, hes big, he can make open shots and hes a decent defender.

how about this, what is the lakers trade bynum to the sixers for the second overall pick along with samuel dalembert and any other contract they dont like. the sixers would be able to finally run a halfcourt offence. they would have a nice young frontcourt with bynum, speights and young. the lakers could then draft a guy who is ready to step right in right away.(off the bench) and in a couple of years they could slide turner in at the 3 since he should have gotten stronger by then.also dalmbert is a better fit for the lakers since hes more defensive minded than bynum and he could give you the same producion sice bynum gets alot of his offence from lobs and dunks. plus the lakers save money.

I was thinking in the second round they should take Sherron Collins, he seems a lot like fisher to me but with a better mid range/ pull up game.

i like both stephenson and torrance. BUt not sure they are available when the lakers pick. I expect torrance to move up close to the 1st round. And i’ll repeat for the millionth time, i think people are writing off guys like farmar, brown, vujacic and powell too quickly. I think the lakers will go with best available and hope it urns out well instead of trying to address a specific position.
