Kyrie Irving is Hurt...Again

ESPN has reported that Kyrie Irving has a broken jaw and will play with a face mask. You got to love the guys toughness but that's got to be his 5th injury in 3 years, lets hope this isnt going to be a reoccurring thing with him every year

its hard to blame his

its hard to blame his injuries many have been just unlucky accidents...he went into the paint hard and got bumped by two bigs and slammed his head on the floor. take in how tough he is though, to have stayed in the game and continue playing the way he did and finishing with 28pts i think.

I'm a huge fan of his and most of his injuries have been unlucky but it still worries you about the wear and tear on his body.

Oh sh!t that was a pretty bad

Oh sh!t that was a pretty bad fall though. Surprised he didn't have a concussion.

But he got back up and still played alright. So I guess it is a very small fracture with only a little bit of swelling.

Kyrie is really serious about getting into his Uncle Drew character. Old bones.

Seriously? A broken jaw? That

Seriously? A broken jaw? That is serious man...I'd honestly prefer if they just didn't let him play the rest of the season and we just tank to get Shabazz. Disappointing season but overall its whats best for the team.

You can let Irving play and probably have a great chance at landing Shabazz.

Wow I checked the box score

Wow I checked the box score and he had 24 points when he checked in with 6 minutes left in the 4th.

Kid finished with 41 with 17 in the last period. He really is Mr. Fourth Quarter.

@Cavaliers420 A broken jaw

@Cavaliers420

A broken jaw is serious, but it's not as serious as like a torn ligament, cartilage problems, major ankle issues, back issues, etc in a ball player. A broken jaw isn't going to affect the way Kyrie Irving breaks guys down off of the dribble, changes directions or shoots a jump shot.
