Skeating12345ParticipantWOW. Kris Dunn leads providence in a come back win over #11 ranked Arizona. This kid is a gamer. He was in foul trouble all game. Providence was struggling offensively until Dunn came back in with 4 fouls with 5:15 left in the game. Down 4, Dunn leads the way with a couple spectacular mid range fadeaway and some really nice assists. He also had the breakaway dunk to seal the game for Providence. This kid is an absolute dog on the floor. Great size, speed, athleticism, and just makes plays. If he can delevop a respectable 3-point shot and a consistent mid range pull-up then this guy will be a very good player in the league. He also seems to be a very good leader.
Really hope my Rockets look at this guy hard. This Lawson/Harden expirement hasn’t quite lived up to the hype.

llperezWatched the game. Zone had 4 straight turnovers last couple minutes. Parker steps on baseline on drive, Anderson throws ball away to wide open teammate after inbound then fouls Dunn immediately to give him 2 ft’s. Anderson gets offensive 3 second call. Parker throws ball away leading to Dunn fast break layup. That was all within like 2 minutes, just turned into a flat out d3 team down stretch.
With all that said, I’m not taking any credit away from Dunn. That dude was phenomenal down stretch. I haven’t watched much college ball and I don’t recall seeing him before but oh my that guy looked like a top 5 pick out there tonight. He was making nba moves and step back fade always. Great length for a sf. I don’t want to overreact to one game since I haven’t seen him much but he got my attention big time tonight.

NBAjunkie81Participanthe can be a starter at the Pro level b/c of his shooting…. But I luv his size, physical strength, maturity & leadership…. I know it’s rare for guys to become better shooters at the Pro level……. But everyone forgets that No One thought the Uni-Brow would learn to shoot as a Pro & he did exactly that…..
I’m not calling Dunn the next Unibrow……. I’m just saying that we forget that these guys are still developing at the Pro level…… & b/c we are seeing teams draft players younger than ever…… We are seeing more Framchises think in Developmental terms….
Not every team can have their PG be their #1 scoring option…. Teams that have more talent in the paint would be a great fit for Dunn….. B/c Dunn has a ton of experience as a team Leader & a Floor General….
I was surprised when he decided to return to school b/c he projected as a mid first round pick…. So he walked away from guarenteed money….. & when I saw his interview explaining his decision…… He was very mature & gave well thought answers…. Very impressive young man….

Juice4o2ParticipantHas that Tony Wroten size and speed. I love how he sees the floor and also puts the small guards in the post. The dude is crafty as heck and even though he loves going right, he does enough with his left hand to keep deffenders way off balance. I knew he was fast but he’s faster then I thought he was from watching him last season. I also love his ball fakes, head fakes and jab steps, I think with his speed these moves really are devestating for him at the college level. Not sure there is any guard that can check him in college. He pretty much can get to anywhere on the floor he wants to.
Thought he might be available within that 10-15 range but I believe he’ll keep improving his stock. Like others have stated that jumper has to get better but the dude is the real deal and has some of the longest arms I’ve seen on a PG. I’ll be interested to see his measurements come draft combine time.

mgreener_34ParticipantThe only thing that is going to hinder Dunn’s career is injuries. He’s had a couple injuries already in his career, so his ability to hold up while playing that bulldog game is going to be key for his success, and is a reason why most people were surprised he didn’t declare last year.

DrivingDownTheStreetinmy64Looks like coming back was a smart move. He was projected as a mid to late first rounder. Now he’s looking like a lottery pick.

BiggysmallsParticipantMy draft mancrush for the Wolves. Saw somebody compared him to a better defensive version of Reggie Jackson. That seems like a solid comp.
Love seeing guys come back to college and actually get better and improve on perceived weaknesses. Too many times guys either enter the draft way too early or go back to school without improving on weaknesses. Dunn is taking better care of the ball, looks to have an improved jumper and was already plenty athletic for the position.
Zona may be down this year, but they’ll never not be a good defensive team. Elite program, so doing that against them puts him on the map, and he should get plenty of exposure this year. Fun to watch.
