Kostas Papanikoloau, Kostas Sloukas, Vaggelis Mantzaris Just Had A Great Euroleague Playoff Game - Still Not On The Mocks

Kostas Sloukas, Vaggelis Mantzaris, and Kostas Papanikolaou all just had great games in the Euroleague playoffs against the best Italian League team Siena.

They are now performing well at the Euroleague playoff level against one of the elite European teams (Siena)..........................

But somehow, not a single one of them can manage to get onto a mock draft list. Hell, I looked, and this site does not even have profiles for Sloukas or Mantzaris..........

But of course guys that play in inferior clubs, leagues, etc. are in the mock drafts instead.

ok They are about to go to

ok

They are about to go to the Euroleague Final Four. In the recent years every single draft eligible rotation player on a Euroleague Final Four team was an NBA LOTTERY pick.

Yet not one of them even appears on a mock anywhere. And I am suppsoed to believe this crap about there is no agenda here?

Rotation players on an Euroleague final four team.............................these players go straight to the NBA lotto in recent years, but NONE of the Greek players can even get into a mock. Right, nothing att all strange or suspicious about this.

did you notice there is NO greek player in the nike hoop summit ?

sloukas played very well against siena (better rating 11pts 4reb 3ass 2st 20 min) mantzaris too (9pts 3reb 2ass 2st in 17 min) but papanikoloau was not shooting very well (2/6)

2-6 shooting and this is the

2-6 shooting and this is the best excuse you can come up with. McCalebb had 26 NBA teams offer him a contract this summer and he shot 5-14.

You do realize that Siena is considered one of the top 5 defensive teams of Euroleague history? Oh wait.......no, you don't know anything other than NBA. Right.

BTW, Papanikolaou had a dunk in the game that would make even LeBron gloat. Of course, I have been told numerous times here in this forum that he just "isn't athletic enough, otherwise he would be on the mocks."

Way to rate a player based soley on a box score. Great way to form an argument.

Kostas Papanikolaou dunks

Kostas Papanikolaou dunks against Siena in Euroleague playoffs:

And I have to read dozens of posts here saying "he isn't athletic enough to play in the NBA, which is why he does not appear on any mock drafts".

The mock doesn't factor in

The mock doesn't factor in the fact that teams randomly pick Euro guys at the end of the mock, come June, I honestly think that one of your Greek homies will get drafted late in the second round, but don't take offense to them not being in the mock draft.

yo

yo euroleageballer, you are doing this continuously when you agreed with me before that the reason y'all greek players don't get noticed is because its not seen as powerful as acb , even though its wrong, it isnt . It is seen like the MAAC or another low ncaa division, a lot of players kill their conferences and average 20 + points, but people UNDERSTAND that its because of the conference they play in so they don't get as much recognision as people that play in higher conferences but put up lower numbers. I know its unfair , but its gotton to a point where it is ridiculous , i agree the greek , the russian , (and the italian on some level) should be noticed as much as the acb , but they dont, alrite, so stop coming with the same argument over and over and over again when we have sorted this flipping subject out.

Im sure if they are good the

Im sure if they are good the NBA teams have em on their draft boards come draft night. But its just that for a mock draft site its not that easy to keep up with every single player every time, when things get closer to the draft they might even have had some workouts. Then lets talk, cause we all know if u have talent enough ur going to end up in the NBA, and some team might stash em in Europe if they like what they see.

These players play in the EUROLEAGUE the best basketball league in Europe, and considered the best (by some) or second best (by most) basketball league in the world. The Spanish League is considered the SECOND best basketball league in Europe.

These players play in a higher level league than the Spanish League. So what you are saying is irrelevant as to why they would not be on the mock draft.

Now, if you think the Spanish League is as good or better than the Euroleague is, then I do not even know where to begin...........

So are you saying that some firmly believe that if you got a group of the Euroleague All-Stars, and play them against a group of NBA All-Stars, that the Euroleague All-Stars will win, or even be close? Give me a break. I firmly believe that Euroleague is the second best league in the World, but some of the things you say Euroballer are popoterous. Do guys in Euroleague have the stroke Ray Allen does? Or the hops Blake Griffin does? Or the in Between game Kobe does? Or the finishing game D-Rose does? Give me a list of your top 5 basketball players in the world, just curious to see what it looks like.

Teams made up of just 2/3s of the best players from SINGLE European countries have beaten Team USA.

A Euroleague best is from the whole continent of EUROPE. A Euroleague best team would destroy Miami Heat by about 20-30 points playing under NBA RULES, let alone mixed NBA/FIBA rules.

If you can't figure that out then you don't have simple logic and reasoning.

Italy, Greece, Spain, Lithuania........in recent years they beat Team USA. Being with just 2/3 to 4/5 (depending on which team) of their best players from their OWN SINGLE country.

If you actually think an all NBA best team which is more or less same as Team USA, maybe add Dirk or Nash there, but Dirk looks old as hell this year anyway.......can beat a EUROPEAN wide team then you are clearly delusional.

Believe it or not, the difference between playing just Greece or Spain, and playing against the best players Europe has all together is absolutely HUGE. If you can't figure that out then you really don't know a thing about basketball and you also don't have much reasoning and logic ability.

No. I am saying that the best players from Europe would beat the best players from the NBA.

And that is actually a fact that anyone with real basketball knowledge will agree on.

It's actually comical that you would think a best NBA team coudl beat a European wide selection. It's completely delusional to say the least.

And the mere fact that you equated NBA to the "world" also shows that you have an extremely low I.Q.

His head was above the rim at one point by about 2-3 inches. It takes a hell of a lot more than 30 inches jump for a 6-7 to 6-8 player to get that high.

Maybe you should lay off the getting high yourself. Just a suggestion, "bro".

You are in no position to

You are in no position to insult anyone. I think I am going to add to my list or your claims:

  • I GUARANTEE That US Will NOT Win The World Championship

Go ahead. All the NBA only fans can talk all their delusional nonsense right here. PLEASE DO IT. You will own yourselves. Because there is not a chance in hell that the current US team can win. Mark my words.

After this tournament, the NBA will NEVER be seen the same way again. It will no longer have any status over the Euroleague ever again after this tournament. Mark my words.

Result: Usa Goes 9-0 and wins the championship

  • Spanoulis is better than every point guard in the NBA except maybe Nash and Williams.

Result: Vassilis Spanoulis Stats- 31GP, 8.8MPG, 2.7PPG,0.9APG,0.7RPG,0.9 TO, 32%FG,17%3PT One of the worst player in the leagues in player efficiancy

  • Sofoklis Schortsanitis is the next Shaq and is coming to the NBA.

Result: Played in summer league for the clippers before getting cut

  • Rubio is the most overrated basketball player in history. Every single person that thinks he is something special automatically gets exposed for having a low basketball IQ. Rubio is nothing but flash. He is total fool's gold. NBA fans have EXTREMELY low standards these days.

  • Pekovic Is the best center in the NBA right now and it is not even close

  • Derrick Rose is a NBA manufacture super star

  • Lebron and Rose would not be superstars in Euroleague

  • No. I am saying that the best players from Europe would beat the best players from the NBA.

And that is actually a fact that anyone with real basketball knowledge will agree on.

^You were talking about

^You were talking about Lithuania and Russia so I assumed that you were saying tht those specific countries could beat Team USA. If you got the best players from all of Europe, including European guys in the NBA, it would be close, but Team USA would still be better. and If we're talking NBA vs Euroleague, NBA obviously. You always ask us to back up our claims, but can you back up the claim that Vassillus Spanoullis is better than Rose, other than with quotes by delusional old guys.

  • Did you ever play basketball?
  • Do you have any friends who actually agree with you on any of this $hit?
  • Why not write to ESPN or a news media outlet rather than a Mock Draft site? Aran may know NBA scouts, but he doesn't tell them not to draft Greek players.
  • Is there any proof that you are not racist?
  • Name this Euroleague team that would beat the Miami Heat by 20-30 points easily. I am not saying they could not possibly compete, or even win, but, easily?
  • WHY DO YOU CARE ABOUT THIS? You claim everyone is a NBA only fan, when you seem to be a Euroleagure only fan.
  • Is there any time you will actually back up your claims with statistical or analytical evidence beyond calling people names or saying something is BS? Just wondering.
  • Show us what your 2012 NBA Mock Draft would look like.
  • Would you not want LeBron James on your favorite team? Do you not think he would make them better?
  • Why can't you ever speak to people like a human being?

I usually look at your opinions in an unbiased way and try to give you the benefit of the doubt, but I give up. You are a f ukcing idiot. An All-Europe team can beat an All-NBA Team? Do you not realize that ALL THE BEST players from Europe play in the NBA? Do you realize that the best Europeans from the world that do play in the NBA, still wouldn't make the all NBA team? If you were saying that all the NBA players from outside the U.S. would be on the Europe team, than you wouldn't seem like a f ucking jealous of Americans ignorant a sshole, even though you still wouldn't have a point.

P.s. Nbanflguy, that was great.
