Kobe closing in on Wilt

Kobe is now only 164 points behind Wilt on the all time scorers list and only just over a 1,000 behind MJ. So look for him to pass Wilt within the next 5 to 7 games aprox and MJ sometime early next season.

It seems no time since Kobe passed 30,000 points and now he is already at 31,255. I'm not going to make any predictions about him passing Mailman or Kareem but he has 100 regular season games left on his Lakers contract so we can all do quick maths where that would put him potentially at the end of next season if his fitness and form remain good.

Kobe is definitely going to

Kobe is definitely going to pass Wilt and Mj, but he still needs more than 5500 points to reach Malone, so it's not that likely if all this talk about him retiring after his current contract is true. But being 3rd on the All time scoring list is not too shabby lol.

BTW Paul Pierce only needs 10 points to pass Charles Barkley to move to 20th all time, so he's probably going to do it tomorrow @ Charlotte.

Thanks for the heads up on PP

Thanks for the heads up on PP likely cracking the NBA top 20 tomorrow night all being well, also noticed that KG needs only 9 points to go past Jerry West on all time list up to 15th place and is within 100 points of Reggie Miller in 14th spot so he should pass that too within a couple of weeks.

The only other major point stats that could go this season might be Antwan Jamison reaching 20,000 and Dirk 25,000 put both will need to up their output to reach these targets.
