I'm still trying to figure

I'm still trying to figure out if this was a serious post. Was that highlight video supposed to convince me he's more valuable than Durant or Lebron?

im a lebron fan, if he

im a lebron fan, if he doesn't get 1st seed they're not handing him mvp, his gotten his share of mvps already. last year they gave it to rose even tho lebron put up bigger #s, which is fine with me because the bulls beat us all times in the regular season and ended up 1st seed. kd is one of the most liked players around the L, and is filling up the box score. if he gets 1st in the W and heat go 2nd in the E i would put money down kd getting it.

if lebron wants another mvp so badly he's gonna have to work it in the finals

Kobe is a great player but he

Kobe is a great player but he really doesnt have much of a case for MVP. He might not even be the MVP of his own team! Andrew Bynum is having a great year. Without him the lakers are maybe an 8 seed. With him they are the 3rd maybe 4th seed. Durant, Lebron, CP3 and Howard are all more valuable.

Chris Paul

Last year, New Orleans gave the Lakers problems in the playoffs, led by CP. Now, New Orleans is the worst team in the Western Conference.

Last year, the Clippers finished 30-52, and out of the playoffs. This year, the Clippers are very likely the fourth seed, could even win their division.

Chris Paul is a good defensive player, makes his teammates better, and is great in the clutch. Anyone see his winning basket against OKC the other night?

Chris Paul is my pick for MVP.

Not even close. He should not

Not even close. He should not be in the top 5. Bryant set his goal to win the scoring championship this year and It is obvious that he is trying to do just that. Other players especially Bynum have visably shown frustration and anger at Bryant for taking too many shots. He is among the lead leaders in 3 pointers attempted at 5 a game. He is shooting 29% from 3. He is shooting 43% from the field on the year. That is he lowest since 1997. He has his 2nd lowest apg mark since 1998. He is turning the ball over the 2nd most times of his career. His team is 3-1 without him. The idea of him being mvp this year is absurb.

Durant

Kevin Durant is MVP. Lebron is like 1.B to Kevin 1.A

No, 42% from the field is

No, 42% from the field is what kills him in my opinion. He's hogging the ball, and to be honest, I believe that if he defers to Bynum and lets Bynum go for 25 a game, they're much better off, and that makes it much easier on Kobe. Think about it, for once Kobe might not be the first guy you gameplan for, but the crazy part is that you'd still have to worry about him dropping 28. If Kobe can accept that Bynum is their primary option, I could see a 24 ppg 50% from the field(yes, the more they pound it inside the easier shots Kobe will get) in a deep playoff run while Bynum and Pau do work inside.

As far as the MVP, it's a two man race, it's Durants to lose especially after today's 43 point barage, albiet it be against the the Love-less T-Wolves. Lebron has it locked up, but he's come up short in the clutch moments time after time. It's not that Lebron can't, we all know he can, but it's the mentality, and Lebron needs to stop thinking "Team First" and think "Me First". This may be the first professional ahtlete that we vigorously encourage to be more selfish. We all know he can hit the big shots, like he did against Chicago with less than a minute, but with 2 seconds left, he needs to run the sideline and take any shot, even if its a fadeaway with three hands in his face, just to show he's not afraid.

with lebron and the way he is viewed as a closer because look at all the greats!

Micheal Jordan-his resume speaks for himself he was a killer cold blooded...same goes for Kobe & Reggie Miller
Magic Johnson-Even tho he was a pass first player he knew when it was time for him to take over because he was the best man for the job!
Even players like Shaq Wanted the ball in crunch time, as a horrible free throw shooter that doesnt seem smart, but Shaq made alot of free throws when his team needed him too
Larry Bird-Was a Killer in the clutch, even James Worthy Shined Brightest when his team needed him most
Lebron just seems like he doesnt want to be put in that light he shies away from that shot alot more than he should

BIRD

And all of those players had hall of fame rosters basically, they didn't have to overcompensate the way Lebron has had to. What people don't (or refuse to know) know is that the Heat are a pretty shallow team and the only way they are ever going to challenge for a championship is if he and dwade completely dominates every game, which is pretty much impossible to sustain over a 7 game series, and the fact that his team is always favored to make it to the title game, is only because people think that all a team needs is Two people to win games for you to win a championship but that just isnt true. All of those teams listed above had a team full of capapable players and fringe allstars, The heat have LBJ, wade and SOMETIMES Bosh.

As a Kobe Fan

I Wont Say He is the MVP because the way they vote for it he wont be higher than 3rd, but he is just as valuable if not more than any other player to their team...

He is arguably more valuable than LeBron because its shown that when the heat have either lebron or dwade out of the line up they play better because can be a threat and will compliment the other, while Lebron and Wade gets in each other way a handful of times espcially late in games.

Truthfully Westbrook is playing just as good as Durant, he doesnt get loved because Durant is more likeable and he isnt the True Pass First PG everyone wants him to be

Chris Paul has made the Clippers Relevant but they still not the best team in the City! player for player they are twice as deep as the Lakers but it seems like they just underacheive and CP3 Seems as if he doent got 100% until 4th quater or is a highly touted game!

He used to be, but not anymore. If anything he has hurt his team more this year. I agree with what aamir said. If he defered to bynum more often the Lakers would be a much better team. Kobe has not been effective this year and has been a glorified chucker. You can tell his teammates are getting frustrated with him

Kobe isn't the MVP come on be

Kobe isn't the MVP come on be serious.

OKC doesn't have the DPOY locked up, blocked shots doesn't give you the award.

Have we forgotton the Detroit

Have we forgotton the Detroit series? That was serious buisness right there. Let's think back to his Cleveland days where he single handedly led the Cavs to victory time and time again. Remember that shot against Orlando in 2009, I know you do, that isn't somthing cowards do, that was a man's shot, especcially after Hedo made a shot that we thought iced the game. We saw him take over so many games with the Cavs, I have no doubt he can do it with the Heat. He isn't on the same level as Kobe or MJ as far as "killing" goes, but he can do it well too, he really can. So I'm gonna be sitting in front of my couch in May watching the Heat going through an understandably tough series against say the Pacers, and even though I won't be rooting for the Heat to win the tittle, I'll be rooting for Lebron to take over games, like we all know he can. Just think back to Cleveland, and all of those games he single handedly won.

It's clear Kobe isn't the MVP

It's clear Kobe isn't the MVP this season...

He's leading the league in scoring, but he's taking 23.2 shots just to get 28.1 points.

I won't say Kobe is hurting the Lakers more than helping, but they would be a better team if he took better shots. Notice I didn't write "less" shots... I just think he needs to take better shots and allow the offense to run through the bigs a more. I think he'd be a more efficient scorer and wouldn't have to work so hard if he allowed that. He doesn't have to carry this team.

With that said, I still think he finishes top five in the voting.
