Sasha4MVPParticipantI didn’t think Wade’s foul was dirty but it was unncessary in the context of the game. Just when Kobe was finally healthy from his wrist problems, he breaks his nose.

omphalosParticipantYeah Wade was very relaxed about it as well, didn’t even check if he was okay, acted like it was nothing. Pretty dirty move in an All-Star game when they were still down 20 or so at that point.

TyroberParticipantI didn’t think it was that rough, but apparently it was. It also says he has a mild concussion

BrentSuriaga01ParticipantBanged up knees, wrist and fingers could still produce a current Scoring leader in the NBA. And now, a banged up nose, come on!!! the only thing that could stop kobe is if he becomes blind. You just cant break him. Intentional or not, it was still a physical contact. Now can you dig tht sucka! Dwade

Tobe BryantParticipantAfter all that dunking and no defense throughout the whole game, you decide not to contest a man, but an unnecessary intentional foul in an ALL-STAR game. Why? Wade pulled a questionable foul that dislocated Rondo’s elbow last year, and now this. Come on D.Wade, you keep it up and your character will be assasinated!

Malik-UniversalParticipantfor an all star game…. that was a dirty foul…. and wade didnt even check if he was okay….
this is honestly why i hate the heat and really dislike d-wade for stupid sh*t like that…. wade’s b*tch ass is just mad he will never get himself 5 or 6 rings even with lebron…..

ShekiruBoomParticipantOMG I know right? Wade has always been known as one Of the dirtiest Players in the NBA!! It’s so like him to think in the middle of an all star game hey I’m never gonna be as good as Kobe lets break his &$#%#&@!king Nose!!! (hint hint sarcasm)

Tongue-Out-Like-23Participant"wade’s b*tch ass is just mad he will never get himself 5 or 6 rings even with lebron….."
Yes.. for that reason alone is why he broke Kobe’s nose. He went into the All-Star game thinking, "Boy, I sure am mad Kobe has more rings. I’m going to break his nose today! Grrr!!!"
Dude, just shut the fk up, you sound like a complete and utter moron.
Was it a bad foul? Yes.
Was it malicious? No.
The East was attempting it’s comeback at this moment and they did not want to allow anymore easy buckets. Those two guys are competitors. If Kobe fouls somebody like that, he NEVER goes back and apologizes or asks what’s wrong. He simply continues to play his game because people are going to get hurt here and there, it’s basketball. If you guys don’t want to see slight contact like that, them watch golf.
Plus, if you girls weren’t aware of it, which it seems as if you’re not, the nose is one of the EASIEST things to break of all the bones in your body. For this reason alone, slight contact on the nose causes it to bleed. Hell, not even Kobe was as upset as you girls are.

inukawaii8ParticipantTOL23. by calling others moron and girls, it doesnt make your argument any stronger, just saying. I agree with some stuff you said. Yes, basketbal is a contact sport, and people get hurt from time to time. Wade probably didnt intend to hurt Kobe, but the hard foul was probably done intentionally. At that time of the game, most players were still relaxed. kobe made a good move, and when he tried to go up, instead of just grabbing kobe by his body, wade swung his arm. he probably was trying to send a message that no easy basket is allowed, but he did it a little too excessively consideirng it is an all star game.

Future_Scouti actually like TOL23 argument better than all of you wade-haters biased opinions. wade obviously didn’t mean it.

FastAndFuriousParticipantWade aint mad.
He could give a fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk less about Kobe

aamir543ParticipantHaven’t sen the play yet, hope Kobe feels ok, I have no doubt he’ll be back imediatly though. But you have to wonder how it’ll affect his performance. Guys like Rip Hamilton and Antonio McDyess and LA’s very own Jerry West will probably give him some advice. It’ll be a bit wierd at first, but knowing Kobe as the ultimate competitor he is, he’ll fight through it.

Tobe BryantParticipantLook, I’m not saying Wade is a dirty player, but we ALL have to agree that was unnecessary and I hope he called Kobe and apologized.
Imagine if you were playing a pick-up game and some guy does that same thing to you. I promise you’ll be ready to fight or AT LEAST quesition the motive behind a hard foul in an all, but meaningless contest.
This is magnified and questioned because no one else was intentionally fouling as players were skying and getting to the hoop in the first half. Then it is an ALL-STAR game, if anything you just let Kobe attempt an out of control reverse lay-up, not potentially crack the guy’s grill. Lol!

IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t think it was dirty, but definitely uncalled for.
I hope Kobe gives him 40 next time they meet.
