THE KNICKS SHOULD SIGN AND TRADE D. LEE TO TORONTO

The knicks should sign and trade David Lee to Toronto for Chris Bosh and his 2010 expiring contract. It would make sense for both teams. First off, Toronto is going to lose a good player in Chris Bosh to free agency. In at which time the knicks would be a strong possible team that he would sign with that year. So if Toronto doesn't want to lose Bosh and get nothing in return. Then why not trade for a proven work horse in David Lee that can put up a strong double double evreynight. Second, this helps the knicks by adding a player who makes them better and has a contract that expires in 2010. Leaving the knicks enough money to go after 2 all-star free agents. Hopefully L . James being one of them. At the same time it gives the knicks the ability to resign Chris Bosh without affecting there 2010 money to sign the 2 free agents. In turn this gives the knicks 3 good players and chance at winning an NBA Title. If Toronto needs a little more added to the trade. Im sure the knicks would throw in a young 7 ' foot center Eddy Curry who has something to prove and alot of potential.

I agree with the sign and

I agree with the sign and trade but the Raptors would never take on Curry's contract. He has a player option for the next two years valued at over $10 million a year. If he opts out he will receive 7 or 8 million at best.

The Knicks should buyout his contract for $8 million. This will allow him to receive his full $20 million after a new contract and allow him to prove his worth, while saving the Knicks $12 million.

We would have to re-sign

We would have to re-sign Bosh before any other free agents in 2010. So that would negate from the money we can use on the market. We would only be able to get one more big name.

Amare is better.

Toronto would want more for Bosh even though what you said about getting something instead of nothing is true.

We could get a 2010 draft pick for Lee so I'd rather do that than trade for Bosh when we can just sign him.

Curry wont accept a buyout and the only team that could possibly want Curry is Miami.(Dont even think about a trade for Wade)

good deal..

would be a good deal..
it would hurt the salary for 2010 but we still could get one more quality player and with a good pick this year it could make sence.

but:
1. we would have to make 100% sure to keep bosh then!
2. a good PF will be avalible in 2010 (amare is also FA) so no need to make a move now
3. i see the toronto side of this deal but i think they want more (talent) for bosh and would be able to get is somewhere
