Knicks at Center

With the playoffs coming up, and no true Center what are the Knicks planning on doing? Will they attempt to play small ball throughout the playoffs in typical Dantoni fashion, or will they be looking to find a capable Center? There is not much available talent as far a sa true big man C goes, but here as some options I think they should look out for.

Earl Barron- Yes he has signed a 10 day contract with the Bucks, but thats just a 10 day contract. HE showed good size, and rebounding in his brief stint with the team last year. I am sure this is who the Knicks are aiting for, but he may not become available if the Bucks butter him up.

Steven Hunter- Last I check he played a couple games with Memphis but I do not believe he is under contract. He used to play the same role well in Philly being an energetic rebounder, and long shot blocker. Hunter would fit in great with Dantoni's system, and maybe even be more impactful then Barron could.

Marcus Cousin- Currently tearing up the D-League with the Austin Toro's Cousin is another great fit for Dantoni's system. Marcus shows all of the abillities wanted in a C, although he needs to put the whole package together. He is a mobile, and long 6'11, 250 pounds and deserves a shot.

The Knicks could also pray on buyouts and hope for the bes, but they might as well give these guys a shot and see what happens.

What do you think te Knicks should do to fill that position in time for the Playoffs?

Jarron Collins would also be

Jarron Collins would also be a great signing, he was signed to Portland recently on a 10 day ontract as well.

No Offense

No offense, but D'Antoni would start Melo at center before he let Collins touch the floor for him.

What happened to Mikki Moore

Is he still playing Basketball because he might be a good pick up.
The Knicks need a strong, mobile center that only cares about Rebouds, Blocks, and scaring people from coming into the lane. They dont need any points from their Center just rebounds!!!

I don't see them doing

I don't see them doing anything honestly...I think they'll feel that amare, turiaf, and shawne williams rotating will be enough even though the rest of the world will probably feel differently
