The Knicks send the 17th pick to Chicago for the 28th and 30th picks

    – Allows the Bulls to take Jordan Hamilton, who can be a slasher/scorer opposite Derrick Rose

    – Allows the Knicks to move down and grab Josh Selby, who can be a solid combo, similar to Bayless and Jeremy Tyler, a bruising big man who could be groomed.

Thoughts? Should NY and Chicago throw in pieces? Maybe Fields? Watson? Asik?

Why would teh Knicks want another 6’2 combo guard, when you have a 6’4" point with better upside in Darius Morris? I want Morris to be the floor general of teh future, period.  Only other big I’d like to take a gamble on is Vucevic. Love his mobility and perimeter skills for his size, and he is massive.

Fine then, we can probably get Morris late in the draft as well. I prefer Selby and Tyler, but to each it’s own.

As a Bulls fan, I’d do this trade but take Marshon Brooks instead.  Freakish wingspan and better potential on defense. I want him.

I think if you are the bulls you want a two guard. They need someone that can gaurd and put the ball in the basket. With two picks at the end of the first you can take a chance. If you only use one I say take a chance on another two guard from the big east Brad Wanamaker. He is a great fit cause he is a player that fits what they like to do.

There is the possibility that Tyler isn’t there for the Knicks, and you never know, maybe Walsh sees the future at PG in Jimmer or Kemba, and they can grab one of them. They’d probably have to move up for Kemba or maybe both, but options are there. The Knicks definetely need depth and rebounding, and there have been rumors about their liking of Faried. Overall, I think the Knicks stay there, unless they can a good option to move up.

picks in the 27-30 (or 40+) range can be easily bought for cash… especially in a weak draft like this.

If the Bulls were willing to make that trade with the Knicks then maybe the Bulls should look at the Jazz and the 12th pick. If the Bulls were to throw in Asik with the two picks then the Jazz would be foolish not to take that trade. I bet the Jazz would even do a sign and trade with Fes.

I’ve also been thinking trading up with their two first round picks would be ideal.  As someone mentioned, I would also like them to move up with their two firsts to snag Marshon Brooks.

Knicks can probably buy another pick but this is an interesting idea if that does not happen but Knicks should probably asks for more like a 2nd rounder too
