What do you guys think about trading robin lopez and calderon and some draft pick for Monroe and MCW ? As a knicks I would take that offer. we would a point guard who can pass and an inside presence and Milwaukee gets a better shot blocker in robin lopez and a back up point guard for bayless.
    Would Milwaukee ever do that?

Milwaukee says no. If the bucks are going to move both Monroe and mcw they will be looking for more than an aging Calderon and a mediocre center in Robin Lopez. Plus Knicks don’t have a pick this year to throw in.

yeah it would have to be a 2019 pick. I also think that Milwaukee would be very hesitant to dothat but as a knicks fan I would take that in a heart beat. Knicks would probably have to throw in affalo or another piece that Milwaukee might need.

First both teams currently suck! Second, neither team would get better from this trade, so no. How would the Bucks become better with Lopez and grandpa Calderon? And Monroe is good, however MCW isn’t.

I think Milwaukee needs a shot blocker defensive kind of guy on the team since jabari doesn’t play much defense. I think they could definitely use that because their defense has been really bad this year and the knicks could definitely use another scorer especially in the post and have porzingis stay on the outside more and crash the boards. I think both teams could get better from this trade.

A completely lopsided trade in favour of the Knicks by someone with ‘Knicks’ in their username.

    Please…..

Im done with Knicks fans. Theyre completely delusional. Theyll have you believe that theyre the smartest fans in the league…when in fact theyre probably the dumbest.

Tip for next draft night…dont booo the guy who is about to save your incompetent franchise.

I asked if Milwaukee would take the trade since they are trying to trade MCW and Monroe. I’m not delusional just looking at what’s going on in NBA and sorry but those are not the real fans that boo’d porzingis on the draft night. I was hoping they pick him and defended that pick so sorry but you are completely wrong about me and my opinions.

Haha yeah youre probably alright. Was too harsh…but that trade sucked lol.

I was referring more to the overweight, pastrami eating greaseballs that call up sports radio to complain about the knicks… and attend draft night with the intention of booing the commissioner and whoever the Knicks pick.

that actually made me laugh but it’s very true. I usually argue a lot with other “knicks” fans that are only there when we win games which hasn’t happened in a while. knicks is the only new York team I follow and im from new York. there’s a reason for that.

Think the comments are pretty harsh – I mean sure it needs to be balanced, but the overall concept isn’t too bad.

MCW is a no because he doesn’t fit into any sort of triangle or halfcourt offense with his lack of a jumpshot. A Monroe/Porzingis partnership, however, might be quite nice.

What about, quite simply trading Monroe to the Knicks for Lopez and the Knicks 2019 1st rounder (unprotected)? A better fit for Milwaukee and a first rounder that probably ends up middle of the pack, and a talent upgrade for the Knicks on a reasonable contract.

I would take that trade as a knicks fan. But im not sure if the contracts would work that’s why I tried to add more to the trade. I think both players could be helpful to these teams.

yeah, it works, it’s within 25%. Nets a nice saving for Milwaukee which actually gets them below the cap line, which helps. It’s an extra year of salary, but that’s a small price to pay for a more balanced lineup and an extra first rounder.
