Came in 6th place last year and 8th place in 2012, looking to improve on that.
Would appreciate comments and input as I’m working on Mock Draft 2.0.
Let me know what you guys think.

CoolidgerParticipantOur top 10s are exactly the same. Most of your selections are pretty good and justifiable.
The only thing i’d note is the second round. You have quite a few seniors going late, such as Quinn Cook and Lebryan Nash. While i’m not discounting the possibility of a team or two taking a guy who can help right away in the rotation, generally the second half is when people start taking flyers on international guys who are undeveloped and who won’t come over right away (or never, in some cases. Especially this year when theres a deep pool of international talent, realistically about 22 international guys who have a good shot at hearing their names called. More then likely only 15-18 will, but still it’s a deep pool. Then again not too many people care for trying to predict the second round considering how random it can get.
Good mock though, well written descriptions. +1

KnickerbockParticipantThe second round is often hit or miss. I’ve read Quinn Cook has impressed in workouts lately and his championship pedigree is playing to his advantage. Nash will probably find his way off my draft before its all said and done, especially as I do more research on international players.

WinterSoldierParticipantI don’t think the Jazz are interested in Kaminsky. Dennis Lindsey the Jazz GM was asked about him in a recent interview. His answer basically was that he sees it as a bigger risk to take older players than younger ones.
Sounds like you are pretty good at these, those are impressive scores. I’ve never done that well so you may not want to listen to me and just do your own thing.

mgreener_34ParticipantVery solid draft, but the only concern I have, and maybe someone who follows the Suns more than myself can explain this, but you say the Morris twins aren’t long term options at the 4, yet the Suns just signed them both to 4 year extentions. Obviously they see them as long term fits.
Am I missing something here? I think the Suns 100% go for a sg/sf type of player

KnickerbockParticipantI could definitely see them go after a SG if Booker is still on the board, but wouldn’t reach for Hunter. As for the Morris twins, I find it hard to believe two undersized PFs with a limited skill set factors into their long term plans. Turner could develop into a Chris Bosh type player with better defensive ability. But I definitely think they’d prefer a SG.

sitlbitoParticipantI don’t see Utah passing on Turner,he’s everything they’ll need down the line.
By the way,you seem to have Oubre falling a bit also, don’t think he goes outside the lottery.

KnickerbockParticipantOubre seems to be up and down but at the bottom of the lottery, most of those teams (pacers. Thunder, Hawks) aren’t in the market for someone to develop as they’re in win now mode.
