don042488ParticipantThe Kings should trade Tyreke Evans & the 36th pick in the second round, go the Suns, for Marcin Gortat & Jared Dudley

derpidyderpParticipantBulls get – Pau Gasol and Raptor’s 8th pick
Lakers get – Carlos Boozer and Tyreke Evans
Kings – Noah and James Johnson
Raptors – King’s 5th pick (moving up 3 spots)
Bulls get rid of boozer and get an upgrade with pau gasol. They will miss noah (who had a pretty disappointing year) but taj gibson and asik (they’re going to retain him) should be okay. Also with the 8th pick, they could draft a sg like Lamb/Ross/Waiters.
This could be a bad trade for Lakers taking on boozer’s contract. But assuming they don’t get D.Will and or Dwight, they need a change. Gasol has been the odd man out and I think boozer will fit nicely with bynum with his soft midrange jumpshot. I think he’s more comfortable facing up and being the 3rd option than gasol. Also you get a young guy in Tyreke who has talent. You could bring him off the bench for some depth or try a kobe/tyreke backcourt (which I don’t think will work out).
King’s are basically getting Noah for the 5th pick. They need a small forward and they could get that in the draft with barnes/mkg if they are there at 5. But Noah/Cousins would be a great combination. Also, Kings get a pretty young sf in James Johnson who had a semi-breakout year last season. He did see his playing time decrease towards the end of season because he didn’t get along with the coach/injury.
Raptors are just trading James Johnson to move up 3 spaces.

bloodshyParticipantWell, the trade could make sense… if it didn’t completely pilfer the King’s present and future for the benefit of everyone else.
There is no chance at all that the Kings would trade Reke + the #5 pick for Noah (an overpaid, though productive big) and James Johnson (does he even have 2nd round trade value?).
I know you’re a Bulls fan and are desperate to get your team out of your terrible contractual obligations, but the Kings don’t bite on this one. I’m not sure the Lakers would either.

derpidyderpParticipanthaha i’m actually a wizards fan. I do see your point though. Noah is overpaid but compared to guys like Deandre Jordan he is a gem. I think teams in general overpay for bigs. Also James Johnson can produce when given minutes. He is very inconsistent but last year he had stretches where he looked like he belonged in the starting line up (I know this because of fantasy basketball. Some nights he put up like 14 and 7 with 3 steals and 3 blocks). I think he definitely has at least a late first round value. Yeah I’m not sure Lakers would bite on this either but given they can’t get the free agents they want, this might be one of the better options out there.
For the kings they said they’re not gonna extend Tyreke. They want to get rid of him. And with the 5th pick they can get a drummond/mkg/barnes. I think drummond won’t fit well with cousins. MKG and barnes will be a good fit but I think having a cousins/noah front line is more enticing. They already have young talents like cousins/jimmer/isiah thomas. Having a veteran guy like Noah will benefit the team.

220ParticipantThe Bulls won’t trade Noah definitely not for what you’re showing they’d get in return.

Wahoo757ParticipantYou must be out of your mind if you think the Bulls would not take that trade. They get the best player, Pau Gasol and they get a top 10 pick in a very good draft and they get rid of two overpaid bigs? Bulls are getting the best end of this deal.

don042488ParticipantNo said anything about my trade

220ParticipantActually you’re right the Bulls have to have noticed how limited they are without Rose and would probably like to start over at least with their big men.
Regardless this isn’t a likely trade to happen.

fliptonnParticipantThe Suns wouldn’t do that. Gortat is too valuable and Tyreke is on the decline. They want to keep all their picks, even the 2nd rounders.

kobyzParticipantlet me join the party and also to throw a scenario:
Tyreke Evans & Jimmer to the Warriors for Stephen Curry & Dorell Wright(then GS draft Lillard to replace Steph)

JustaFanParticipantWhere are all these Super Awful trades for Reke coming from seriously?! I seriously can’t understand why Sacramento or their fans are in such a rush to give him away. The Kings don’t have a good team anyway, why give him up for little to nothing. He’s a bonafide scorer and he’s only 22 years old. Calm Down people and give him some time to continue developing.

GrandmamaParticipantDid this dude draw names out of a hat for Sacramento to trade for? I said Aran should ban trade proposals, but I change my mind…..it’s posts like this that give me a good laugh on a daily basis.
