Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantReally tough break for Middleton and the bucks. It’s hard to see them making a playoff run without Middleton for the majority of the year.
This should really expand jabari Parker’s offensive role this season and make him their bona fide number one option. It will be interesting to see how he responds.

BasterdInABasketParticipantThat’s gonna be tough.. Really hope Kidd and the rest of the staff emphasized improving outside shooting this offseason especially for Jabari and Giannis. This teams shooting just went from bad to awful. Delly and Mirza might help a little in that area but it’ll be up to the two young guys to see if this team even sniffs the playoffs. Realistically don’t see it happening in that division now.

BleedGreen808ParticipantTerrible news for the Bucks. He’s the best shooter on a team that was 21st in 3pt shooting percentage last season.

SubZeroParticipantThat was my first thought. Hope this will at least enable him to have a breakthrough and have something good come out of this situation

llperezI highly doubt he’s ready. I watched 2 of milwaukees summer league games and I was surprised at just how bad he looked. Maybe it was just 2 poor performances, but he didn’t look like a guy who should even make the Bucks roster. He shot 33% from the field and 24% from three and committed more turnovers then assists. Best case scenario I see for him is a Marcus Thornton type role where he can get hot and go off but will also dissapear and take bad shots while bringing little else to the table.

r377ParticipantI liked him as a prospect in college but has not done well in the pros. I follow him a bit with news and updates and so far he has not lived up to expectations

omphalosParticipantMaybe eases the pressure on the team to return to the playoffs and allows Kidd more latitude to give Maker meaningful playing time, experiment with Giannis at the PG and give Parker a chance to play the role of primary wing scorer.
Bad news for the team, but Middleton is basically a finished product, so this opens the door for others while he’s out injured.

Hype MachineJoe Ingles is in flux in Utah behind a deep wing contingent.
Milwaukie should inquire about getting him for a 2nd rounder.

DolanCareParticipantDevastating news. Also indicative of how flawed the Bucks roster is. Middleton is, was, the only high-level shooter on the team, definitely in the starting lineup.
One injury leaves Delledova and Teletovic responsible for spreading the floor- a failure of Milwaukee’s front office.

r377ParticipantThe Bucks just acquired Mike Beasley in a trade.

Robb_CParticipantThe Strippers at Silks Milwaukee are probably the most excited about the news..
