malipoParticipantkevin seraphin is a intriguing guy and in this site he is a first pick in the 2010 mock draft. he is a native of Cayenne in French Guiana, Seraphin is 2.05 m (6 ft 9 in) and weighs 113 kg (250 lb).he plays for cholet in france like a center he impressed me a lot because he is very athletic and quick player after he has great moves in post like hook shoot and pick and he is a great blocker and has a good capacity to take rebounds and hig skilled iq
in european champioship u20 he scores 11.8ppg and 5.7 reb in 23 minpg in nine games with 55%fgp
in eurocup he scores 7ppg in 18 min 6.5 reb 1.4 block 50% fgp with high 16 points and 10 reb in the last game versus red star of nemajia bjielica another interestin guy
in french league where he got bad results he scores only 3.5 ppg and 2.9 reb with only 26 attemps in only 11.3 min of shoot with a high of 9 ponts and 5 reb versus paris
he lacks of leadership and must inproves a lot but the fundamentals are good an in nba he can be a good appareance but he have to remain in europe for one or two years to improve his plays he reminds me yohann petro and serge ibaka he is a potential great player what think about him?0 - Posted on: Fri, 01/01/2010 - 9:35am #242562
JNixonParticipantHe’s a good athlete, but he’s got to work on polishing his game….He also reminds me of Johan Petro as well, as he has that type of size. Ibaka is skninnier than him so that’s why Petro is the better comparison to me…

TRC1991Participanthes like 90% of the foreigners NBA teams just have to get their hands on…raw and athletic

HaleParticipantI watched him in the USA-World game and he gave Cousins and Sidney fits at the end of the game, he got tons of rebounds and he looked pretty athletic and explosive, didn’t see any post moves though.

MagikKnickParticipantForeigners confuse the hell out of me…
You have one set of them that are super athletic, but they also happen to be equally as raw
Then you have another set, that have tremendous basketball IQs, but lack the athleticism to be pros
But as for Seraphin, i think hes a great prospect, in the late 1st, he can be a low risk, high reward type guy

HaleParticipantI was thinking the exact same thing! If you could combine the talents of Seraphin and Montejunas, then you have something special there..
