    Is it me, or is he overrated as a coach?  I feel like UCONN has gotten worse the longer he has been there.

     I think that’s a fair assessment.  UCONN has been mediocre since their mircaulous run to the NCAA title in 2014.

     He had a great start to his coaching career at UCONN – working with then replacing HOF Coach Jim Calhoun. Given Kevin’s long NBA playing career, he looked exactly the sort of coach who would get an NBA top job if he wanted it. But he has a nice deal at UCONN for another 3 seasons and hopefully he gets a good roster again soon.
