He soooo freakin long.  He doesn’t even look human at times.  Amazing he can move like that with the body.

he’s 20 lbs. away from being unguardable. 6’10” 235 lbs. is a more than respectable frame

    He’s listed at 230 lbs right now…

There are some people who think KD can never pass LBJ as the best player in the league, but I think it’s a legit possibility… And sooner than people think.

Durant will be the League’s best player in two years IMO. LBJ has stalled in his development, and it’s only a matter of time before Durant usurps him. Let’s just hope we don’t have another Kobe-Lebron situation where they never have a playoff series while both of them are in – or close to – their primes.

Every time I see a crazy mix of durant, i think about how insane portlant could have been had they made a different decision…. i don’t think they’re EVER going to live that out even if Oden becomes a repected player.

Agree, Durant just looks like he is doing something different than everyone else. To be that tall, to be that fast, and to have a jump shot. Even the handle, while not exactly good, is still just so unexpected in a guy that size. Dirk has got the size and the jumper, but he doesn’t have anywhere near the speed, hop and of course, not even close, no handle at all.

Lebron has his issues that we saw in the Dallas games. But game in game out he is a beast and KD has a ways to go to get to that level. And just because the Dallas series ended bad for Lebron, doesn’t mean I don’t remember him dropping threes on offense and then guarding (no, lets be call it like it is, shutting down) the MVP on defense. But yes, I think this is the battle of the next three or four years. KD can be the best in the league, he has that kind of talent.

Too bad the lockout means we don’t get to watch it develop.

The case between Lebron & Durant is an interesting one. Lebron right now is better but lets go through their attributes. Scoring- Durant right now has more ways to score and more efficiently. Rebounding- They are about even. Lebron may be a little better right now but Durant will be an 8rpg guy soon and could be better than that at some point. Passing- Lebron clearly owns this one. He is and will always be a better passer. I think Durant has good potential as a passer. He looked good in the FIBAs passing. I think he could avg 4apg at some point maybe even 5 in a good year. Defense- Lebron is a better defender. Durant has potential to be just as good of a defender. His skinny frame may get exposed at times but his height and length I think will make up for that.

Point is Durant is still on his way up at 23 years old. Lebron is better right now and probably should stay there but he has hit a wall in terms of development. His jumper hasn’t gotten much better in the last few years. His post game is still terrible and it seems as if he has lost some athleticism(though on a scale of 1 to 10 he was an 11 now he is back to 10. lol) I am NOT saying Durant WILL pass Lebron but he does have a shot.
