I’m surprised nobody has said anything about them here yet. Who were you most surprised and impressed by?

The Harrison twins both had great measurements, being over 6’6” in shoes with wingspans over 6’8”, which gives them very good size for SG and potentially gives Andrew massive point guard size. Both tested well at the bench press (12 and 13)

We knew Willie Cauley Stein would have great numbers, but his turned out even better than I expected: a legit 7 footer with a 37 inch max vert and 19 reps in the bench press.

Alex Poythress had predictably terrific numbers, coupled with a 10.3 body fat percentage, which suggests he may get into better shape and post even better numbers at the draft combine.

Tyler Ulis was predictably tiny: 5’9”, 155 lbs.

But, obviously, Dominique Hawkins had the most shocking results. A 44.5 max vert!!! 20 reps at the bench press! He genuinely was better than Nate Robinson in every category except for his sprint time.

I know Hawkins is almost exclusively a defensive guy at this point, but he is only a sophmore and he is an INSANE athlete, who works hard and hustles on the court. Does anyone see him becomming an NBA prospect by his fourth year?

as far as only looking at combine results WCS can make argument for being one of the best center athletes we have seen..

He can jump and touch the highest height and sprint the fastest. That’s extremely impressive. Poythress’s vertical mixed with 26 reps is also just crazy.

Now they just have to hit jump shots.

Was Karl Towns’ dad doing the measurements at the Hoop Summit? lol

9’1” is a far cry from 9’5” as far as a standing reach is concerned. He really just has pretty average length for a center, and good length for a power forward.

His block numbers and defense never really screamed 9’5" reach, Probably an error at the Hoop Summit, Kentucky wouldn’t screw over their own player.

It’s pretty insane that they have 3 guys who hit the 12′ mark, and 5 that hit 11’11.5” or better.

Dissapointed to find out Lyles didn’t get his wingspan measured.

Im not buying his Hoop Summit measurement ( 7"3.5").

As for Hawkins, his offensive game is so behind im not sure he can improve enough to make himself a NBA prospect. He can’t shot, handle is not tight and lacks PG skills.  Still an absurd vert.
