43-35 Kentucky at the

43-35 Kentucky at the half.

First things first, the University of Windsor appeared to be a NAIA, DII, maybe respectable DIII level team. They aren’t very big or frankly good.

Second, people who think that this freshman class will be like last year’s are sorely mistaken. They are small, and nobody on Kentucky has the kind of NBA body that Wall had, Bledsoe had, Cousins had, and Patterson had. That isn't to say they won't be very good, but last year's Kentucky team looked like they had four NBA players in their uniform. This team looks like they have young college kids. Brandon Knight isn't John Wall, but he has done well. He showed nice vision off the dribble, hit a 3, a nice floater, and obviously is really quick.

Agreed a little bit. I believe Enes Kanter is NBA ready. I talked about him 2 years ago. He was a potential Okur type with Milsap's motor. I think the rest of this class is a "building" class. I believe Knight and Jones are potential lotto guys but I see Jones potentially staying for 2 seasons and playing with Teague, Gilchrist and Davis.

Yes. Kanter is a solid jump

Yes. Kanter is a solid jump shooter. He does it once in a while but he's better in the low post.

I'm saying this- He should be the #1 pick. I think his upside is super high and he's played against men for YEARS.

It is hard to say. Calipari

It is hard to say. Calipari had more than a few guys at Memphis who weren't NBA ready but because they were "NBA close enough" they left. It all depends on the guy, and how he likes/tolerates NCAA life.

True. I think this upcoming

True. I think this upcoming class is really good. Poole and Lamb should be there for a couple seasons. I think Cal will also look for some more solid players who could help in the 2011 class in terms of role players down the line.

Memphis and UNC also are

Memphis and UNC also are doing something like this, but in the Bahamas. Memphis just finished a game today 142-64, obviously the competition isn't very good. Joe Jackson scored 28 and had 5 assists. UNC played 2 games in the Bahamas, the scores were 123-86 and 130-87. Harrison Barnes had 23 the first game and 21 the second game.

Knight had a nasty jam on

Knight had a nasty jam on that white boy. You knew it was coming too after that guy block his previous shot.

However, Knight was stuffed by the rim on a dunk later in the game.

Lamb also looked good, but Darius Miller has been the most surprising. He is really showing some confidence that has been absent in his first two years. His jumper is still flat, he is either going to make it or leave it short. He had a nice feel down low, having to play center for extended minutes (although both Canadian teams lacked any solid big guys). Strong finisher around the hoop.

He is going to get overlooked with the other guys on the roster, but Miller should finally make a name for himself this year.
