    Does Kentucky get in the Tournament after today’s lost?

    I don’t think they have a chance but a lot of other bubble teams lost today so you never know….They need some reputation points if its gonna happen.

    Take them against a team like Iowa who also lost today…one fought hard against a really good team, the other had a tough time hanging around with a below average team. More importantly, Iowa has played in the Big 10, Kentucky plays in the SEC, and both had similar results all year.

      Granted the Big 10 looks to clearly be the best conference but do we really know until the tournament starts? I mean the SEC has looked pitiful for a number of years but they keep getting teams to final fours and elite 8’s…

      I just don’t think its like Football where one conference is clearly supreme over the others…the recruits are spread out and in fact the ACC and BIG East get higher rated recruiting classes traditionally than the BIG 10…The “we play in a better conference” thing doesn’t seem to mean much come tourney time…

    Kentucky doesn’t deserve to play in the tourney, although they have some solid wins (florida, missouri, ole miss, tennessee) they also have some inexcusable losses (yesterday vs. vandy, texas a&m, georgia) and have been playing poorly at the most crucial of times…Losing Noel hurt them tragically. Let’s move on to next year. This is an NIT team

    as an 8 or 9 seed in Indiana’s bracket, so we can maybe get the game “Coach” Calipari robbed us of this year!
