I know he’s just a rookie but Kendall Marshall has not looked good to me at all this season. He just looks so slow out there and really is struggling to guard people. Patrick Beverly is really is killing him right now in pick and roll and some of you may not even know who Patrick is but he’s the backup for the houston rockets. I wasn’t to big on him last year when he came out but this further makes me think he can’t be a legit starting point guard In the league. With that being said i do think he could be a very good backup on a playoff caliber team with plenty of scorers. Opinions?

I argued with so many people on here saying Tony Wroten was better and should be the lottery pick. I couldn’t understand how an unathletic guard who couldn’t shoot, score or defend well went in the lottery.

You and me both about Marshall. I even forgot he was still in the league, but before the draft I made all the same points about him you just did as well.

He’s NOT a NBA Player. He will never be productive, he’s too slow to do anything, all he can do is stand and pass the ball around. He can’t even shoot. I’m sorry but I believe he will be out of the league when his contract is up.

If Marcus Smart drops to Phoenix in the Draft, I could see the Suns drafting Smart and trading away Kendall Marshall and the plethora of wing players they have (Dudley, Beasley, Johnson, Morris twins, or Brown) for some value in return

I haven’t watched many Suns game, but Goran Dragic seems like an adequate starting PG. Im not sure if drafting Marcus Smart would make any sense, you would have to move him to SG, which then looses his value as a big PG. Their better off drafting a true SG or SF.

At 1 point letting Marshall start in front of dragon because they wanted to see what they had in Marshall. Buy I think it’s clear who the better player is. No comparison

I think a trade for Marshall would be best b/c he seems to have more than an unfair stereotype in PHX already and just maybe this team don’t really work towards his strengths or it could be he really need to be surrounded by better talent to be really effective as a player partially to hid his defensive weaknesses……..ther are plenty of players in the NBA with defensive weaknesses that play on a nightly baisis in a starting position. But I would love to see him play for the Spurs

He’s years away from starting, he’s still a good passer but his impact in the half-court is highly questionable, he lacks quickness to run off screens, not good enough of a shooter to spot up and he’s not explosive enough to attack the basket. The only thing that is on an NBA level is his height for his position and his passing ability but when the game slows down his passing has let him down in the past which begs the question, what is he good for at age 21 when his best asset isn’t working?

He has improved in past months, a sign of hope? He’s worked on a floater that is becoming more and more effective when he drives into the paint. His hardwork and perseverance has been rewarded with some minutes from the Suns but he needs to round his game or he’ll stay as a back-up because Dragic offers much more. I like his character because he seems to handle pressure well on and off the court which is a sign that he’ll get better nevertheless he still has a lot of work to do within a timeframe when the Suns are constantly losing faith in their lottery pick and so are the team’s fans not to mention the bust gang who’ll be looking to tag him soon.
