So I was on ESPN and saw a poll on who would you rather have on your team in the NCAA tournament and I was surprise to see majority would take Kemba Walker. As of now 59% of US would take Walker and 41% would take Fredette. I was one of those 41%.

I like Walker a tad bit, he can be a pest on the defensive side. He also contributes in other areas such as rebounding, better defender and averages 2.2 TO per game, which is incredible for a ball dominant PG.

Walker is a better rounded player, Fredette is obviously a better scorer. I think both will have a bit of success i th league. depends what system they go to.

I think it depends on what you are looking for.  I think Walker is a more complete players and will make the transition to the NBA better than Fredette.

I would take Jimmer but I always want my point guard to be able to shoot threes.

id take kemba i think he is the better scorer even tho jimmer has had tons of big scoring nights but the competition hes played against is a joke compared to the competition uconn has faced confrence and non confrence games and kemba has had his way with almost all the big name teams they played this year pitt and texas comes to mind and not to mention the maui invetational, hes  the better pg and rebounder and is probably the best closer in college basketball

I don’t agree with the statement that Jimmer is clearly the better scorer. Obviously he’s the far superior shooter, but as a scorer which includes getting to the line tbh I’d take Kemba. Jimmer’s 28.5 ppg is impressive but keep in mind that’s in the Mountain West Conference. Kemba averaged 23.5 ppg in the best conference in the country. Jimmer’s huge games came against New Mexico, Utah, Colorado State, and Wyoming. Kemba’s highest scoring outputs came against Notre Dame, Georgetown, Syracuse, Pitt, and American East regular season champs Vermont. Jimmer obviously is an unbelievable shooter but I’d argue that 34 points against Notre Dame or 31 points vs Pitt is just as impressive as 47 vs Utah or 38 fvs Buffalo.

Yeah I was going to say, BYU schedule isn’t a joke compared to any conference. The Mountain West is stronger than some of the high major conferences, especially at the top. Fredette is the better scorer IMO too. He’s not the athlete or defender Walker is, but he is the better scorer. And it has nothing to do with the schedule.

compared to the schedual uconn has had its been a joke and if uconn were to play byu i think they would beat them easily and i think kemba could have avg 30 in that mountain west confrence and compared to the big east that confrence is a joke and byu’s strength of schedual out of confrence and in confrence were not that impressive

I think UConn would beat BYU too head to head, BYU isn’t a great team without Davies, but that doesn’t mean UConn’s schedule is a joke. The Big East is an overrated conference to me. They have a bunch of teams, but all of those teams aren’t that great. Definitely not as great as the media in the East Coast makes them out to be.
