Kemba Walker over Flynn in your mock draft is even more of a joke after last night

Flynn destroyed Uconn last night and if they didnt have Thabeet by their to change his shots he would have scored 50 on uconn. It is a joke that u have Kemba Walker over hin in your mock draft. Clearly not in the same league. He cant shoot it , he can defend and create a little . But u need to revise your draft board if u think he will ever go before Flynn if they are in the same draft.

No love for Eric Devendorf

I've been a strong supporter of this Web site for a few years and it's about time Eric Devendorf starts getting some respect. He's not on this year's or next year's mock draft? Why? The former McDonald's All-American has sucessfully come back from an ACL injury, which halted his NBA aspirations. He's a tough combo-guard who gives Syracuse its swagger. He can shoot, defend, pass and the teams backup point guard.

And how is Kemba Walker rated a better player than Johnny Flynn? Flynn is a tough-minded point guard, probably the best in college basketball, and along with Devendorf they comprise the best backcourt in the NCAA.

My usual comparison

Jonny Flynn=Chris Paul...Walker does have potential but he will never be a better player than Flynn

Hold up a minute

I live in Syracuse and to say Johnny Flynn is a better point guard than Kemba Walker is a farcry from the truth. Flynn is a very intriguing prospect and probably the best nba product SU has produced since Carmelo Anthony, but he has such an erratic game it's not even funny. Despite Flynn dropping 30 point in 6 overtimes last night he did it on 9 of 24 shooting. Think about that for a second. In 67 minutes of play he made 9 baskets. So instead of all of the praise of him being the best Big East Point Guard let's get real. To me Johnny Flynn is a poor mans Rajon Rondo and is a modern day Earl Watson. The guy will produce on the NBA level, but for any one that thinks he's better than Teague, Lawson, and Rubio is far from reality. Kemba Walker is one of the most defined point guards I've seen in the last couple of years even in limited action. He plays much bigger than his listed 5'11 height (He's not 6 feet,) but plays as if he's 6'2 or 6'4. He rebounds very well for his size and has a 3 point shot worth mentioning to go along with his quick first step. I think Walker can be a combination of Jason Kidd and Tj Ford within the right system. He's just got that much talent despite his lack of size. To me the difference between Walker and Flynn numbers wise is this at the next level. Walker 16-7-4-2, Flynn 15-5-3-1. Time will tell how both develop into NBa caliber players, but for me it's Walker over Flynn anyday.
