laxmisonParticipantEnd of the bench player or prob out the league in a couple of years. Seems too slow and not very tough

kobyzParticipantvery good, he’s smart player, he’s big, he has unique talent on offense, also i think he could be solid defensive player as he know team concept and move his feets fairly well for a seven footer. poor man Pau Gasol perhaps.

Chilbert arenasParticipantChanning Frye- Good 15-20ft spot up shooter who’s not strong or tough enough to bang in the paint.

XYRYXParticipantHow about Luis Scolas bigger version? A grounded and unathletic play but very intelligent and can knock down the long jumper.

fcb206ParticipantWatched KO as much as any fan or scout this year…I know he looks pretty underwhelming physically. especially with those t-rex arms, but this dude really gets how to play basketball. People talk about his shooting range, but he also has a very sophisticated post game. what he lacks in athleticism and explosiveness he makes up for with his footwork, deception and timing. On defense, he’s not a big time shotblocker, but he understands positioning and help rotations at an NBA level. his basketball IQ is as high as any big in the draft. He is also a smart passer and sees the floor well. I think he could be a valuable cog in any offense that is build on ball rotation and back cuts. I think he has many skills that remind me of both Vlade Divac and even Pau Gasol. I don’t think he will be as good as Pau, but I think he is going to be a solid pro. I like the idea of a “bigger luis scola” as his best comp. I don’t think he’s gonna be a star in the league, but whomever takes him will be very pleased.

ropeParticipantIt’s hard to come up with a good comparison for Olynk, because he won’t compare to anyone memorable. I immediately start sifting through stiffs like Kent Benson and Cherokee Parks. At that point, why bother.

crazyman39ParticipantI was just reading up on him and his story reminded me of Anthony Davis. There were a couple of similarities. They both played PG then hit a big growth spurt and had to adapt to playing big. With that in mind I think he could be a very good player. NOW I DON”T THINK HE WILL BE ANTHONY DAVIS GOOD! but his blend of pure basketball skill gives him a huge advantage. His bust % must be extremely low, but alas his ceiling isn’t that high either. When dealing with drafting bigmen though I would pay much more attention to bust %. So many big men are projects who flop hard and flop early.
I especially like the Luis Scola comparisons above. I could see him being a better outside shooter but thats about it.
