Reptilian MonkParticipantWarriors adding Kevin Durant top 3 player, former Mvp to 73-9 best regular season of all team. Yeah he signed for a ring and created an all time super team if they stay together, should win 3 in row.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantSteph, Klay and draymond did it.

SubZeroParticipantPut some respek on Zaza’s name

nath09ParticipantI agree, Zaza does deserve some credit. Thompson played his best ball in the last 2 finals series but did not seem to have the same impact this year.

holefillers1ParticipantAgreed. W/out ZaZa, Kawhi might have played that entire series.

SubZeroParticipantHe did it. He really did it. Signed a piece of paper and joined one of the best teams of all time and gave himself the easiest path to a championship any star’s ever had. Didn’t think he’d pull it off but he sure proved me wrong. Proud of him.

wonzi_bellsParticipantYeah, for the duration of at least the Klay contract, they should win every championship in that window.

Wello009ParticipantWhile I understand NBA fans are angry at KD for "selling out" and joining the team he couldn’t beat, I can’t help but admire the way GSW constructed their roster.
Drafting their core players Steph, Klay, Dray and even Harry B until this season and then signing a max FA, that’s the blueprint for rebuilding, it’s just a shame for NBA fans that they did it so well.
Who knows what the future holds, both Steph and KD have injury histories or some teams like Boston or Spurs showing more improvement, maybe Melo or Cp3 join a contender?
I just don’t believe that’s it’s possible in professional sports for the next 3 years to be a foregone conclusion, can’t wait to see how it unfolds and how much GSW are in the luxury tax after FA.

bcdee21ParticipantSaying Klay, Draymond, and Steph did it with out giving Durant credit is wrong. I crucified Durant for leaving OKC, but you have to respect how he played in the finals. Nothing in this league is guaranteed, just how everyone thought Lebron and Miami would win the first year, anything can happen. To not give credit to Durant on his ring is nonsense. He was easily the best player on the warriors for all 5 games, and the best player on the court for either team a few of those games. He didnt coast to a ring in the finals, he played like he was on a mission and got it done on both ends of the court. I still wish he stayed in OKC(being an OKC fan) and dont agree with his decision to go to Golden State, but to say he coasted to a ring is disrespectful. He delivered when it mattered most, against the best player in the world, and on the biggest stage.

HeroescantdieParticipantWithout KD, I think their chances on winning is lesser. Durant was the biggest torn on the Cavs team in the finals

SubZeroParticipantNothing you just said was a surprise. Obviously any team’s chances would be lesser if you took away the 2nd best player in the world, and he’s been the biggest matchup nightmare in the league for years. People act like the Finals showed us something but this is exactly what everyone thought would happen since July

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI mean, honestly, I could’ve been on that team instead of Durant and we win the ring.

bcdee21Participant^^^
How can you guarantee a warriors win with you on the team instead of Durant when they didnt win last year without Durant?

SubZeroParticipantLast year: “The NBA is rigged the Warriors would’ve won if Lebron didn’t cry to get Draymond suspended”
This year: “They couldn’t win last year so they needed KD”

HitsterParticipantWell done to KD and the Warriors, LBJ had an immense Finals series but even he could not stop his team being comfortably beaten. GSW just had too much heavy duty offence and could be creating a dynasty with this team. But for their collapse last year they could have been hat trick winners and looking for a 4th straight title next year – not achieved since Red and Russell’s Celtics although MJ never played the year after each of his 3-peats to be fair.
