I’m watching game 6  of the thunder vs spurs seriesand wondering once the spurs big 3 retires. What’s kawai’s potential? He seems to be able to alittle of everything well especially dunking in traffic but can he be a 22+ scorer? Or will remain pretty much the same player?

I think he has a good future, turned to great due to being in the Spurs organization. Having Duncan, Ginobili, Parker and Coach Pop is a great help to his development. He has the athleticism to play in the NBA, he just needs to improve his ball handling and shooting. Defensively he’s a stud

Kawhi can put up Paul George numbers. Being restricted by the team concept of the Spurs right now

I think khawi would be a perfect.fit on the.2016. Olympic.team.  he’s a.great.defender.who could.guard the other teams.best.player.  Doesn’t need.the ball to be effective, can knock down open shots and.plays unselfishly coming from a great spurs system.

His hands are a bit of a problem. It seems like he fumbles with the ball a lot, especially when he is dribbling. That is a problem that he needs to overcome if he is going to become more of a proficient scorer. Otherwise, if his usage rate goes up, I think his turnovers go up too.

I really think Kawhi can become a Scottie Pippen like player. They have similar body types long with giant hands and are both jack of all trades as well as being lock down defenders. I feel like he will never be a #1 option on a contending team, but man this kid makes some plays that will surprise you.

Back when Spurs traded George Hill for Kawhi (15th pick), people were saying wtf?

Turns out, Spurs well and truly won this trade.

Kawhi is a great do it all player, realistically he could average 18/10/4/2/1
