So it’s 3 in a row for these guys, my question is do they make it 4 monthly awards or can someone each conference step up, if so who?

Out East I think the increased minutes for Turner I think he is a very similar skill set to Porzingis. There is no reason he can’t start putting up some big numbers more frequently given the opportunity, the inconsistency will be there but the averages will climb no doubt.

West I look at Booker who over the last 10 has averaged over 17ppg and looks to be heck of a scorer. I think it’ll harder for someone in the West to beat out KAT than Porzingis.

Okafor has a shot as well.

     And it’s a snowball’s shot at that…

Out East I honestly feel like Porzingas has benefited from playing in New York with Carmelo Anthony and that 76er bias has clouded Jahlil’s season, honestly I’m so exited for this draft class…

Turner, Hezonja, Booker, Portis and sleepers like Rachaun Holmes and Larry Nance have been playing better every week…

KAT and Zingis have to be the favorites to sweep the rookie awards. Only Okafor has a realistic shot, but only if Porzingis hits a wall offensively, because Kristaps is simply the better all-around prospect and it is showing. The other rooks have just been too inconsistent to be any threat for a monthly award, even though many of them have shown a LOT of promise going forward. Good class of rookies.
