Kasey Hill

Anyone else buying this kid as being better then the Harrison twins? I like him over both of them. He looks to have better passing instincts and ability then both, and his jumpshot has improved heaps. Florida is going to be fun to watch with all the oops from Kasey to Chris Walker. I see him being All-SEC next season. He is already a strong leader, and can finish through contact and step out behind the arc. His passing is great and he is a serviceable defender. He is very strong, and has quite a bit of upper body muscle, but still maintains elite college level quickness. Despite passing the eye test, he is still a little slight and is only 170, though he is 6"-6'1" so he isnt too slim, though a tad bit more strength would be beneficial in all regards. He is quite a bit shorter then the Harrison's, which is a disadvantage, but I think he is the better point guard of him and Andrew Harrison. This sight doesnt have him projected as a one and done, though in my opinion, if Florida does well, he is out the door in the lottery, or at least could come back and have a sophomore year the likes of Trey Burke if he can lead them far in the tourney. He reminds me an awful lot of Burke, and I think he will be underestimated the same way Burke was due to his stature, but don't sleep on this kid, he is the real deal and will be a force in the NCAA

I watched the first half of

I watched the first half of today's game vs st benedicts. I saw some good things but ovarall didn't like his pg abilities and thought Syracuse bound Tyler Enis was better. Although monteverde did come back and win so maybe hill looked better in the second half. But first half he was 0-6 from the ft line and continually passed up the open man trying to score on his own and his team was down double digits at half because of his poor decision making. he does have the speed and a good looking shot from deep.

Totally agree. I have never

Totally agree. I have never really been impressed by Hill, and for some reason every time I hear his name I think of Ryan Harrow

I agree that he could end up

I agree that he could end up the better point guard prospect, but that's only because I'm not totally sold on Andrew as a point guard, let alone Aaron. I think both the twins are better served as play making two-guards a la James Harden. But I'm not saying that Hill will be the better player at the next level, just seems to be more of a pure PG at this point.

Hill is better then Andrew at

Hill is better then Andrew at everything except shooting and having the size advantage. He turns the corner better and dribbles better he also gets way above the rim and has some sick vision. If he gets a jumpshot it will be a done deal as far as him being one and done.

Kasey Hill is a bullet in the

Kasey Hill is a bullet in the fast break, his ability to push a break will be a great asset in future.
He has great court vision and is 10x more athletic than Ryan Harrow, not to mention built.
He is more athletic than Trey Burke, less skilled.
#He is a physical specimen, have you seen the highlights? this dude flies!. I've seen actual games too, he is a stud.

Hill is not better than

Hill is not better than Andrew and its not even close. Not only is Andrew ranked higher than Hill now but NBA scouts watched both at the AllStar game practice and said Andrew is head and shoulders better than any other pg in his class and its not even close. All 30 something scouts that were there agreed. He has a better IQ as a pg, better defender, better passer and he is able to play a half court and full court game. Hill is athletic and fast but that's the only ing he has over other PGs. And that help him much against Nigel Wlliam Goss who punished him head to head

No way. This guy's floor

No way. This guy's floor game is really suspect. Put him in the half-court and he looks clueless.

Kasey Hill reminds me of Mike

Kasey Hill reminds me of Mike Conley. I don't see star in him but I do think he's going to be solid.

I really like that Mike

I really like that Mike Conley comparison, I completely agree. I think he will be a guy who is certainly a starter, but never an all-star, or a guy with stats that blow you away. I think he'll have a Andre Miller sort of career, im not comparing their games at all, but I think they will have similar careers. Though i could see Kasey having an all-star season because he is quite an explosive athlete and if he has one great season im sure he could get a reserve spot. Though there are a LOT of point guards, so that might be far fetched if he isnt a super star.

So-so

Kasey Hill is a player that can really emerge in my opinion. He doesn't quite get it yet, but with the proper coaching and understanding the true role of a point guard, he could become much better prospect than what he is now. I dont think he's as good as the Harrison that plays the point guard yet. However, I can honestly say neither of the Harrison twins just blow me away. They're good, but they are just not my type of players.

I was much more impressed

I was much more impressed with 2014 guard D'angelo Russell then I was with Kasey Hill. At times during the game it seemed like Russell was playing as the better Point Guard then Hill was, Hill just seemed like a ball-handler. Hill began taking many hard contested layups where he could of gave the ball to a teammate for an easy dunk or layup. Russell knew where and when to feed Ben Simmons, Devin Williams and Dakari Johnson thorough out the whole NHSI, while Hill was forcing passes and trying really hard to find scoring opportunities for him self. To answer the question, I do not believe he's a better PG prospect than Andrew Harrison. Andrew Harrison puts the game at his own pace. He has great vision, speed and a nice jumper to go along with that. Not to forget his tremendous size for his position, although he would be better suited for 2-guard, he has all the skills and tools to play PG. Him and Kasey Hill will both have good careers but I believe Andrew Harrison will have a better college and pro career.

He doesn't remind of Conley

He doesn't remind of Conley at all in terms of style of play. Maybe similar athleticism in terms of quicks in the open floor, but Conley had a very mature game for a young PG which is one of the reasons why he was taken where and when he was.
Hill's decision making and shot selection is sketchy at best, which is concerning for me since his coach at Montverde is a very good one, who expects and demands good execution.

I'm sorry but I think he is

I'm sorry but I think he is going to be really good. Twin may be a little better now but k. Hill has BIG time upside. I don't understand the conley comparison at all. He is and plays way more athletic than Conley. Hill has Westbrook potential but better based on his passing. 5 years from now I think Hill is going to be really good.
