There rarely comes a draft with two such talented big men at thebtopnofnthe draft who in many eyes are both can’t miss. Who will the Wolves pick and who will the Lakers be jumping for joy to see still there. Either way these teams get a very talented big to anchor the middle and the Lakers will be more than happy to pick the left over

Even LeBron could have, like, slipped in his bathtub and been killed* or something.

"Who will the Wolves pick?"  Towns.

Who would the Lakers be "jumping for joy to see still there"?  Also, Towns. (Hence the Lakers’ dilemma.)

As a Wolves fan, I go back and forth. Beore the college season started I leaned Towns. I thought his versatility and defensive capabilities would make him the better pro, but once the college basketball season started I had a hard time sticking to that opinion because of how Okafor was playing. I really respect and enjoy watching good post play and his footwork and overall low post game blew me away. I don’t really buy that he’ll be a below average defender his whole career. He has a 7’6" wingspan and is mobile for his size. I think with the right coaching and improved effort at that end he can at the very least be a servicable defensive center. However, taking everything into account I still lean Towns. Towns is the new age big. He’s versatile on both ends and being able to anchor a defense and protect the rim is so important. I’m just ecstatic that we’re going to be getting one of these guys, but I will be a little disappointed if it’s not Towns.

Apparently, Towns wowed at some kind of private workout yesterday. He may have locked up the #1 pick.

    KAT is my pick.

KAT reminds me of LaMarcus Aldrige (long and mobile), were as Okafor (strong and skilled) is more of a Shaq type player (I’m not saying he’s Shaq).  You can’t go wrong with either one of them.

The Wolves biggest needs are defense, 3 point shooters, and some advanced medical technology from the future to keep its players on the floor.

Flip will draft the guy he thinks is the best basketball player.
