Looking down the list, you realize the cupboard is pretty bare this year in terms of post talent.  The list does have quite a few who have had recruiting hype or might get some draft love, but you aren’t looking at lottery talent, for the most part.

A couple things off the list – I’d forgot about Mika.  He was pretty good.  And doesn’t feel like Kennedy Meeks has been at Carolina for a decade?

Anyway, who do you have off this list, at least for their performance this year?

I’ve seen the most of Tyler Davis and Moses Kingsley since I mainly watch Kentucky, but they both had some great games last season. Kingsley was one of five players in the major conferences to average at least 16 and 9, and Tyler Davis had a putback at the buzzer to tie it against us and just made winning plays for A&M during a great Freshman season. If he takes the next step, he could be deserving to be on the shortlist for the award

the previous 2 winners of this award ended up being top 10 picks, frank kaminsky & jakob poetl….neither guy was considered lotto material early in their careers…

i had 4gotten about eric mika of byu..if he improves his defense he could go mid to late 1st round..he has length,he’s a good athlete ,have a few post moves and a good mid range shooter…

tim kempton jr of lehigh, could be a 2nd rounder..he plays alot like his dad.poppa kempton spent some time in the nba.

good to see paschal chukwu on this list..even though he averaged only 9 minutes and came off the bench during his lone season with the friars.and will be coleman’s backup to start the season…being named to this list shows people are still high on his potential…
