***IF*** LeBron wanted to go

***IF*** LeBron wanted to go to the Blazers, that could happen though. The Cavs would obviously be starting over and the Blazers have plenty of young talent to throw in a sign and trade.

A package centered around Aldridge would be good for the Cavs I think. Let's say Aldridge, Webster, Fernandez/Batum/Bayless, their 2010 first round pick and cash.

It comes down to money. In

It comes down to money. In New York, Chicago, or Miami he could make up the money difference and even come out ahead. I would love to see him in Portland and see the Blazers become a instant contender. The problem is Lebron has to agree to where he goes in a sign and trade, the blazers could give a lot of young talent to the Cavs along with picks maybe even the best combo of players/picks they could get but Lebron has to agree to it. David Lee and Nate Robinson jersey's each outsell Brandon Roy's, Portland isn't big enough for Lebron or Lebron is too big for Portland whichever way you want to look at it.

which is why he wants to

which is why he wants to leave but is conflicted, if he had played in Minnesota or Millwaukee for his career so far nobody would be second guessing him leaving but being the home town kid, around friends and family he is conflicted.

he should definitely come to

he should definitely come to sacramento haha, i know that will never happen, that would be pretty sick with him and tyreke, and they have a ton of money to give up, the king playing for the kings, i wish

if i were him i would definitely go to new jersey, derrick rose is better than devin harris but hes still good, and brooke lopez is a lot better and a true post player than noah

and as for new york, he would score a lot of points and win a lot of games, but mike d'antoni will never win a title, it's a joke if anyone thinks he ever will

Blazers

I second that you would be giving up your whole team for him. A sign and trade doesn't have to be an even deal. Most sign and trades seem to give something back to the team losing the star player, but usually a prospect is pretty good. I'm not sure how much they are going to be under the cap, but I would assume they keep Aldridge. Sure he is worth giving up to get Lebron, but you have to keep your core guys to make sure you definitely elevate your team to championship level. Fernandez sounds like a guy on his way out, but I could see him stick around if traded to Cleveland because the playing time would be there. Either way I wouldn't give up a ton of talent, just enough to get under the cap if I'm the Blazers. If I'm the Cavs and have no chance of matching then I take the best deal I can get.

IF the Blazers were to get

IF the Blazers were to get LeBron in a sign and trade, they'd have to match his salary or come within a certain amount. LeBron will be making max money. That's around $17 million per season. On top of that, LeBron can get as much as $30 million more if he does a sign and trade.

Roy obviously wouldn't be in on the deal. I doubt the Cavs would want Andre Miller. I doubt they'd want Pryzbilla either... He's injured. The only other players making a good chunk of change are Aldridge and Camby. You'd have to make a package centered around either of those two in order to match the salary.
