prophetmeirParticipantWhy is holiday so slept this season? Before he got hurt he was an allstar and pretty much carried an NBA franchise to the playoffs at such a young age. He is quick, taller than most guards , finishes with any hand ( basically does everything with left) and has great tempo. If I had to choose a pg under 25 right now it would be him over the others. Look for a big year from the Pelicans , like the blazers last year.

Lotto StudParticipantI love Jrue’s game! He’s so relaxed! A 2 by nature, but poised enough to man the 1. I feel his game will open up more if he can play his natural spot which is the 2. He’s the most undervalued guard in the NBA not named Mike Conley. He’s a guy that will last forever in this league no matter how effective the rest are. If he can play his game to where he doesn’t really have to create for others from the flow of his pace, while still getting people involved, it will be trouble. His game is tailor-made for utilizing his body and creating his shot inside of the arc.

ballislife33ParticipantHe’s a pure 1 not sure what you have seen that makes you think he’s a two.

Lotto StudParticipantYou just do not know a pure 2 when you see one. Many complain about combo this combo that, when it comes to the 2-spot. PG… NO! Jrue just possesses the ability to run the 1 very effectively. A "Russell Westbrook" could not be able to do what Jrue does, and let’s put aside athletic ability when in reference to Westbrook in this matter.
Jrue’s photo is currently next to the word "RARE 2-Guard" in the NBA’s Dictionary.

BenchWarmerParticipantShooting guard? I always viewed Jrue as an undersized stretch 4 with handles. A point forward of sorts that can line up at combo guard, but almost strictly is stuck running the point by NBA coaches that don’t understand him or basketball…
