I think it’s a solid pick. JV/Davis should be a formidable frontline for years to come, especially as each one gets stronger.

But I think this pick means Bargs gets traded.

     probably won’t play next year,

he thinks he compares to Chris Bosh,

has alot of upside, and keeps getting better,

    I really like him, but…

might take a couple of years!

He has potential to be the next Joakim Noah.  He works hard, plays with passion.  A very good rebounder with legit size and decent length.  Still very raw offensive with a few moves and pretty foul prone as he plays very aggressively on defense.

He’s very different from the heartless Bargnani, so at least he’s a good energy guy.

Baring any unforseen issue, I guess Andris Biedrins with a shot would be his floor.

he’s got potential. I actually think it’d be best for him to play overseas for a year or two. For one, there might not be a season next year. in any case, what ever happens, when he comes back he will be more developed, more consistent and ready physically for the NBA. I say good pick. Seems like good attitude. Cleveland shudda had him. Or atleast Knight.

It’s a very good pick. It allows Casey to audition Bargs on D and potentially move him if it’s unworkable.  If not, the Raps could have one of the better frontcourt combinations in the league. Bayless, Ed Davis and DD devlop… that club is, what? 3 years from playoffs and, if anyone breaks out, 5 from title contention?  Plus they add a top 3 in next year’s draft… not bad.
